Although Sawasdee has been open for almost 30 years, we happened upon it by chance looking for a quick supper before a 7:30 p.m. event at the Little Mountain Gallery nearby. The bright green facade caught our eye and, although the restaurant was only half full at 6:30, we were told a table was conditional on being out by 7:00.... More

I attended with my g/f on a Thursday night. there was a small wait as it was packed. Once at our table, we put in our order. Jasmine Tea, Thai spring rolls, a pad see ew with beef and a red curry with tofu and vegetables with coconut rice. As the place was packed it took a little while before... More

We have been going to this restaurant for 25yrs and the quality has definitely fallen. The fabulous Pad Thai we used to enjoy now is a sloppy gloopy version. The prawns have been over cooked the last couple of times we were there. This is very disappointing as we were regulars at this restaurant and now I hesitate to go... More

Had a fabulous meal here. Restaurant was full on a Tuesday evening with a waiting line so we booked our space and went for a pre dinner drink. We returned, got our table straight away and ordered our food from the extensive menu. I had the sweet & sour chicken and my partner had the crying tiger beef. Both were... More

We visited Vancouver and truly enjoy thai food.....this restuarant was busy with local customers and the Pad Tai was the best I have ever had. In fact the experience was so good we returned for our last night in Vancouver. Try it you'll love it, I guarantee it!

This is located along Main Street & 27th Avenue. I have loved Thai food since I lived in LA as there are a lot of Thai people living in LA. The food that I am accustomed are authentic Thai food, prepared & cooked by Thai people (in LA). In Vancouver most of the so called Thai food are not authentic... More

Another small eatery that tops the list for good food and value for money. This small neighborhood restaurant is a delight for a casual meal. This is obviously a popular spot, the restaurant filled-up quickly even on a Tuesday evening, I can't imagine the weekend line-up. The restaurant is clean and enough spacing between the tables for comfort and conversation.... More

In fairness & full disclusure, my husband & I had our wedding lunch here many, many years ago. While visiting, we had to take our kids (who are Thai food snobs). Ownership has changed, but everything we had was great - Chicken Satay, Grilled Calamari, Green Papaya Salad, Crying Tiger Beef, Garlic Beef, Pad Thai, Prawn Cashew! The food is... More

The service is as amazing as the food and I'm never disappointed. Its great for take out or dine in. I take everyone who comes to visit me to this restaurant, and it's always a hit! Prices are reasonable as well.

Delicious food, varied menu, large dishes and friendly service at affordable prices. I had to wait 20 mins for my seat but it was worth the wait. My fave dish is the red curry with chicken and bamboo shoots! yum!
