after good news following a medical procedure, we came here for lunch. hadn't been here in a number of years and it was great to see that all is doing well here. I read mixed reviews prior to new years eve, so I was relieved after our visit. I had a delicious grilled romaine Caesar salad as a side with... More

We were staying just around the corner from this restaurant and went because of the good reviews. The food was excellent with delicious mussels and fish and chips but the evening was marred by the poor waiting service. First we had to wait ages for drinks, then the main course arrived before we had finished our starter necessitating us to... More

Raincity Grill specializes in using locally grown ingredients to craft tasty, attractive West Coast cuisine. The wine list is also impressive with many local selections; most available by the glass as well a bottle. The atmosphere is elegant but not 'stuffy.' The service is attentive but unobtrusive. They're located at English Bay. There is outdoor seating when the weather is... More

This was my second time there - eating late lunches that turned into main meals! Last summer, we were able to sit outside but this time we were inside, at the winter, still a great view of the water and those great statues in the park. White linen tablecloths, very pleasant room. Joel was our waiter and we had a... More

I had made reservations for Raincity Grill several weeks ago based upon Trip Advisor recommendations. Based upon recent reviews, I almost cancelled my reservations as I wanted to make certain we went to some great restaurants while visiting Vancouver. I happened to stumble upon a Groupon(I love coupons) for Raincity Grill in which we could purchase an 8 course tasting... More

This was an unexpected treat. This is an upscale restaurant that also serves delicious fish and chips for those that don't want a sitdown meal. The food, from appys to dessert was excellent ( there were six of us andall had something different), nicelypresented and theserver was very friendly

Walking into the Raincity Grill was inviting with fresh white linen tablecloths, open, airy, fresh flowers, artwork and a fabulous view of English Bay. The front side of the restaurant facing Denman Street was perfect for people watching. We were promptly greeted and seated to the table of our choice. Our server was so pleasant, warm and very professional in... More
