Take a cab here. You will not enjoy the walk past the neighborhood soup kitchens and methadone clinics. Once there, it is very authentic. The butter beef, fried chicken, and everything else was expertly prepared and the only problem I had was trying to stop stuffing my fat face before I exploded. Very busy place, but the staff still found... More

My wife and I went here for lunch. It's one of the only places in Chinatown that actually resembles a restaurant. That's why we chose it. The place was packed. We had an option to get a table for ourselves and wait 30 mins or 10 mins and share a table. We chose to share a table. It didn't have... More

This restaurant is so popular with the local Asian community, don't even come here for lunch until after 1:30. The wings are their signature dish, crispy deep fried with a sprinkling of kosher salt and piping hot - everyone dives in when they come to the table. The beef is another mainstay dish - both cooked & raw that is... More

My wife and I recently had lunch at this wonderful restaurant that specializes in Cambodian and Vietnamese cuisine. The service--and the place was humming--and the food were superb. The price was more than reasonable and lunch was generous and smartly prepared. An excellent value in a very pricey city.

Came here Saturday 5pm and our family of 4 had to wait 15 minutes. Actually not bad considering others have said the waits can be considerable. Service was great, food was great and just an overall excellent experience. Yes, Absolutely recommended! You will not be disappointed with food for sure. I believe there is a 10% discount for take out.... More

A dear friend of ours took us there for dinner and it became one of our favorite places everytime we're in Vancouver. I don't mind waiting in line for over 20 or 30 minutes as it is totally worth it. Great value for the price, awesome food, especially grandma's recipe for squis and chin=cken wings. Anthony Bourdain has been there... More

All the food at Phnom Penh is delicious. Served quickly in huge portions and very flavorsome. The menu is seemingly endless and, conveniently, it seems to be open later than almost every other restaurant in Chinatown on weekdays (which is dead come 7pm). They reportedly close at 9pm but as long as you're in the door before that they'll serve... More

Perhaps due to the hype and high expectations I was somewhat disappointed with our visit. I had heard about PP for ages and finally went. We ordered my friends' faves of fried chicken, lok lak and fried rice with chinese sausage with a side of morning glory. As everyone else says, the best part was the fried chicken. However, I... This place is always busy. We go there at lunch time, early dinner 5PM and dinner time 7PM and always a line up out the door but wait time usually no longer than 30 minutes. The food is very good, cheap, and the service is very fast. My fav dish is the sliced beef on rice OR the lemon grass... More

I enjoy every visit to Phnom Penh. It's cheap and the food is great. We always order the chicken wings or the squid version of it as well as the luc lac. All were amazing. There's always a line up but it moves fairly quickly.
