I had a ton of fun trying out their various entrees but I think the most interesting items here are their desserts. For the main course, we had options likeHerbed Prawns, Risotto,Seasoned Chicken, Tuna Ceviche Salad, and Sweet Potatoes. Generally an eclectic selection of western fare, this was great in presentation but in taste the ceviche tasted the freshest while the chicken was... More

We have season tickets to the Arts Club on Granville Island and usually dine at Bisto 101 (with a reservation) before the show. It opens at 6 pm and the shows start at 7:30 so it works nicely. The seating arrangement is ideal with tables nicely separated. The daily specials are a creation from the cooking class and the main... More

A fun evening in a relaxing atmosphere... reservations a must. The server is one of the bakery students so the service was not excellent, her enthusiasm was however. Excellent selection from the menu, fresh and flavorful, beautiful presentation.

We had dinner at the Bistro last night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They had the Wednesday night half price wine and the three course meal. The service and food were enjoyable but what I enjoyed most was the basket of fresh breads. There were eight different kinds of freshly baked bread. Really delicious. I will definitely be going back the... More

I love this restaurant. On Wednesdays the wine is half price and the selection is good. The food is always excellent and well presented. The student servers are very conscientious and knowledgeable. This is one of my go to places for lunch.

Last week I went with colleagues and students to the “Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts” for lunch. They offered a “West Coast Buffet”. First we went to the wrong entrance. But then we found the right one at the opposite side of the building. The appetizer and dessert buffet looked great. Although the tiramisu was not a real one but... More

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback, Ben! It's great to hear that you enjoyed our West Coast Buffet. Thank you, too, for your feedback regarding the plated entrée selection - we will pass this on to our chefs and students as it is a most valuable tool for their learning. While we can only... More

We ate here for lunch. Food was good. It was interesting to watch people come into the restaurant only to be ignored. During our lunch we watched 2 different couples finally give up and walk out. My husband owns a resturant in Yaletown and we were both gobsmacked by this. Considering it is a learning institution and unless is was... More

Thank you for leaving us this review. As we are a training institute, our students are still very much learning the ropes of the industry, compared to your typical restaurant, so it is appreciated that one would temper their expectations a bit. That being said, we hope that we can and have exceed those expectations during your visit. We hope... More
