It was good, almost great.

First off, it's location is in the block behind the main road so that it wasn't super easy to find (this did not prove a problem for me though). We did not have a reservation, but fortunately for us there was available tables. Our waiter was very good to us, although he was quite busy as he served... read more

It is probably necessary to warn readers that the single $ designation on tripadvisor is not accurate, this place is pricey. For people who are planning to have a three course meal plus one alcoholic drink plan to pay at least $100 per person. But I will say it was worth it. Service was excellent, restaurant quite fancy without feeling... More

I discovered this gem about 20 years ago and have been a regular visitor since. The restaurant is owned and run by a French chef who's lifelong passion was to once own a fabulous restaurant. And how succesful he was! I don't know of a restaurant in Vancouver that equals his creations. In all the years that I have come... More

We just completed a three week swing through the Pacific NW and Le Croc was one of the finest dinning experiences we have ever had anywhere. An elegant setting, courteous and attentive staff, amazing food and wine list. The starters were well done and nicely platted. My wife's Halibut was the cooked to perfection and my duck was excellent.

This was my third time eating at Le Crocodile and I will never go back. Although the chef is excellent, the service was horrible. The server was slow to bring us menus, we had to ask for water and for drinks. Our plan was to enjoy some drinks and starters and sample some different dishes between the four of us.... More

If Vancouver had a 3 star Michelin rated restaurant, it would be Le Crocodile. The Food, The Wine, The Service. 3 hours of pure enjoyment where everything and everyone is focused on the best possible experience. Best dining experience in memory

We are on vacation with a group of friends in Vancouver and had dinner here. The place is outstanding in every respect. Great location, impeccable service, attention to detail, and quality of the food. All six in our group loved what we ate, appetizer, main and dessert. The caribou special with the half lobster tail from Cuba was outstanding. I... More

How fortunate we were to sit outside on the patio in the shade of trees. Excellent service, delicious food and an overall wonderful experience

My friends and I loved this place. The server and sommelier were very attentive and helpful. We sampled seared foie gras, spot prawns and the onion tart as appetizers, enjoyed a mini caribou meat pie, and ordered sweetbreads and veal for dinner. We shared the passion fruit creme brulee and lemon tart for dessert. Everything was delicious but the desserts... More

If you want a fantastic French meal this is the place for you. We had escargot, lobster, steak ou poivre. Everything was cooked perfectly and flavored wonderfully. Desert was fantastic. We all had different dishes and all were great. The service was top notch and the location was close to shopping and very convenient.
