This is classic diner. The place is not fancy, but the food is delicious and fast. Endless coffee that is actually good! GF options too.

Service wonderful. Food great Noise: too noisy Restaurant was completely full. Food arrived on time and every thing went well. I just think this place is overpriced. if they dropped every meal price other than the kids meals by about $5.00 would be more reasonable.

What a nice place to have breakast! Good coffee and a very friendly attentive server. The eggs benedict were really tasty. I am always on the lookout for good eggs benedict and these were right up there with the best. Never felt rushed at all and the service was really friendly. I'll definitely be going back there!

We went to Joe's Grill twice after having it recommended to us by the desk clerk at the Buchan Hotel. It was a good recommendation. On the second visit I had the blueberry pancakes (which come, automatically, with both bacon *and* sausages) while my companion had the eggs benedict. The eggs benedict were, I'm told, "fabu." The pancakes were also... More

I went there with two friends during the Saturday before Grey Cup (Canada's Superbowl). The place was packed the staff over worked though full staff on (not critiquing management ) yet we managed to get our orders in and served quickly. I had the Brit breakfast which was classic British with tomato and beans and usual breakfast fare at a... More

We enjoyed our breakfast at Joe's Grill. The french toast was crisp and the eggs good. I wouldn't say it was the most outstanding place I have been for breakfast, but it was good. What I liked best about Joe's Grill was that it wasn't a huge place, the service was great, it was filled with a wide mixture of... More

Busy place, but great service and not long to wait. My husband had eggs benny both times and said they were excellent. The first time he had them with shrimp and it was a large portion. I went with the corned beef hash the first day and just a basic ham and eggs the next. Both times were yummy and... More

As is tradition on family holidays we started off our last day with a classic diner breakfast. Glad to say we were not disappointed. The service was top drawer - this was the only place on our entire holiday when the waitress did not clear away someone's plate while everyone else was still eating (a major bugbear of mine). We... I usually go to the Denman Street location. Friendly and efficient service, pretty good coffee, classic diner type breakfast items with a few interesting twists, like the veggie hash and eggs. Reasonable prices too. One of my favorite breakfast places in downtown Van.
