Fast, inexpensive and delicious!

I had never been to a Mongolian BBQ place before......my sister-in-law swears by this place. And she was right! Shaved chicken, lamb, and beef......fresh veggies of every variety.....and a huge selection of sauces to mix and match. And it's all cooked in front of you with panache! Delish. And fun... read more

From the outside, this place looks like a hole in the wall. I'm glad we chose to go in because the food was delicious. You pile meat, veggies, noodles, and sauce into a bowl, and it is cooked right in front of you. You know exactly what you are eating. Very good value for the price, and the beer is... More

I was brought over by a friend to meet with her other colleagues...anyway the place was packed after 7 pm...so I suggest come early... I liked the lamb...I mixed and matched the ingredients and the sauce. A staff will cook it for you on a big hot metal plate.... (Sorry I don't know how you call it) but overall I... More

We came to this restaurant almost every time we went to Vancouver down town. It seemed to be one of the best options for our whole family. My kids enjoyed the feeling of choosing the food materials they like, and also seasoning their own meals. They also liked to watch "the cooking show of long chopsticks on the big pan",... More

For $10 its a steal. Its a small place and often you will have to wait for a place to be seated. It is run by a true Mongolian , (that's what the waitress said) who does the BBq in jiffy. You have to make your selection and he gives it the final touch. Complimentary soup and rice adds to... More

Today I went with a friend to the “Great Wall Mongolian BBQ”, as mall restaurant at north end of Denman Street in downtown Vancouver. The offered items were not so many, but still enough to get a full bowl. The person who was BBQing the items was very friendly. Later came another, older person who was not as talkative but... More

My partner and I travel from a couple of hours away just to come here. Everytime is is fantastic and fresh. All the staff are lovely and in addition to your bowl you get complementary soup, rice and spring roll. Lunch is only $10 or $12 all you can eat and I believe dinner is a flat rate of $14... More

Choose your own meat, vegetables, and sauces. Cooked on a large, round, metal griddle as you wait. Servers and chef were helpful and friendly. Fairly large range at the bar.

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
