From the moment i walked in something seemed off. The hostess looked at me like i had 2 heads and didn't say a word to me. I assume she was waiting for me to strike up conversation. I told her i'd like a table for dinner. So far so good. I sat down and waited. And waited. Finally a bus... More

At this restaurant, we are sitting by the water on Granville Island, in the heart of Vancouver. The ambiance is extra and the food delicious. This is French cuisine with a hint of Pacific Cost. I will return many ''encore''....

The Dockside is a brief walk away from the bustle of tourist, and is a relaxed atmosphere with a nice patio near the water. The menu is diverse, and the bar and wine selections are good. We had fresh seafood for dinner, and it was excellent. The service staff was a bit reluctant to check on us, but our overall... More

Located in the Granville Island Hotel, the restaurant looks over False Creek and has a great patio. Service was very good. We ordered a nice bottle of red but were given water glasses with stems. The poor server was embarrassed to say that they are constantly running out of wine glasses. Anyway she got some from a table that was... More

By walking just a few more hundred meters we were out of the tourist crowds of Granville Island. Dockside is a great location, with excellent food, relaxing ambiance, great beers and a grand view on Vancouver.

We ate here twice in 24 hrs. Once for a late lunch and breakfast the next morning. Both meals were delicious. The squid was amazing! The burger was one if the best I'd ever had. Only problem was the service for the breakfast was a little slow. That said, the staff was great as well.

Small selection of Beers but the in-house brewery is solid. I recommend the Pilsner. Pizza/Flat Bread was delicious. Pasta maybe lacking in flavour maybe too heavy on the cream which overtook the flavour of the rest of the ingredients. Friendly and attentive staff. Will return.

Dockside Restaurant on Granville Island is a great place to spend a couple of hours for lunch on a summer afternoon. Their expansive deck is positioned on the water and you get the full advantage of the morning and early afternoon sun. They have plenty of umbrellas and open air tents so no one has to sit in the direct... More

Food was excellent and the view is amazing! We only had breakfast there but I am convinced that the lunch and dinner menu would be just as delicious!

It is necessary to reserve ahead for a table on the patio. Needless to say, the view is worth much. Inside the restaurant is also very nicely decorated, complimenting the high end hotel and surroundings. The service is very good, the waiter came back to ask if everything was fine, and he refilled water without asking. We had lunch early... More
