Great location and service

Went with a group of about 20 for Sunday brunch. Service was very efficient and polite. Good choice of menu items, good food and great view of the water. They also had a lady guitarist/singer that added to the enjoyment of our visit. I would recommend the Dockside...

We love wandering Granville Island when we get to Vancouver. Sunday brunch at Dockside was very good. A Caesar to begin, with extra clam juice, then spring rolls which were scrumptious. Husband had a house omelet with 3 kinds of mushrooms and I had heirloom tomato spinach eggs Benedict. Really delicious food and watching the harbor, the kayaks, the sculs,... More

The view is terrific, partly due to the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water. The salmon burger was one of the best I've ever had!

We visited Dockside due to its listing in a “visiting Vancouver”-type brochure, (in hindsight, this should have been a warning flag) touting its scenic views, vibrant happy hour lounge, and quality drink selection. It seemed like a great way to kick off our first trip to Vancouver. Unfortunately, while not by any means dismal, it was certainly unimpressive. The restaurant,... More

When we take a mini-vacation in Vancouver, we always try to eat at the Dockside Restaurant and Brewing Company. Their ceasar salad is complex and piquant. Their pasta in inventive and entrees are beautifully plated and perfectly cooked. We've not had a bad meal here in years.

Recently had a lovely dining out experience here. Food was very good, some of it excellent. The service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. And the view was awesome. I really enjoyed the wine selection.

Dockside is well regarded for seafood restaurant and they do that up well. I felt like some prime rib and the delivered. A very flavourful demi glaze with seasonal veg and a yorkshire along with the required garlic mash. That along with a 2010 Township 7 (a BC wine) merlot and it was a perfect match.

Compared to the wonderful meals I've had there in the pasts my recent two meals were a disappointment. The menu selection was uninspirig, many of the offerings were unecessarily heavy (Yorkshire pudding fried in duck fat) and the taste delivery was underwhelming. Hope they bring back a more fresh and imaginative menu to go with the beautiful setting.
