It was our second visit to 'Pino's in the last year this past weekend because we couldn't remember if we really enjoyed the food here or not from our first visit over a year ago. Long story short, we SHOULD have remembered how good it was because our dinner was exceptional! My wife had the gnocchi which was loaded with... More

This is a warm, lovely restaurant. Lots of dark wood. Cozy on a rainy night. We had dinner on a Saturday night early, and were seated in a very nice room with maybe 8 tables. Lined with wine bottles--very pleasant! The food was incredible. I had linguine pesto that was fabulous, and my husband had sablefish that he said was... More

I took my wife here for her birthday and was not disappointed. The service was attentive and knowledgable. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful . The sauces were flavourful. My wife's sablefish was 'to die for'

Food was fresh, but way overpriced and nothing fantastic. Had a salad for a starter which was great. Dessert was unbelievable. But our pastas-the lobster linguini and the fetucinni-tasted like spaghetti with ketchup and the other like hamburger helper. I'd rather had gone elsewhere for 300$,

We just had the pleasure of dinner at this great neighborhood restaurant. In town for a few days before a cruise, staying in Yaletown, we lucked out getting a referral here. The four of us dining together were all impressed. Here are a few of our dishes that night: from the roasted organic beet salad, with pumpkin seeds and goat... More

It is an expensive place to dine but worth every penny. Sparkling and shining wine glasses greet you as soon as you are escorted to your table. Sportless and whiter than white table cloth, cuter than cute French server attending to every your movement. Superb view of the open kitchen's hussle-bussle that exhibits confidence and solid kitchen skill. And Pino... More

Hard to find fault with our meal at Cioppinos in Yaletown a couple weeks ago. We had a nice table on the patio out front. Service was attentive and professional, but not not at all stuffy, and our server had a very good knowledge of their wines by the glass. We started off with Pacific Octopus and Lobster Bisque. I... Good un-rushed service (although dinning room was half full @ 7.30pm on a Friday night). Impressive but extremely overpriced wine list (they don't allow corkage). Food was above average but not to die for. Portions size alone doesn't justify the lofty prices. The braised veal cheek was a tad over seasoned. Scallop appetizer was tasty (2 medium sized scallops for... More

We felt a little like we should be seeing a godfather in the space, and it seemed a little dated. Most of the dishes we had were tasty, but a couple of them seemed pretty plain. Tremendous wine selection, though.

I visited Cioppino's in July ..was invited by local friends in Vancouver.. and I loved our meal ! We must have spent atleast 3 hours at the restaurant..over superb food and wine. The zucchini flowers served as appetizers were an absolute hit. What I loved was, the food and presentation.. and above all the service. We had a fantastic person... More
