Excellent Cocktails, Food and Service

Had the duckfat and whiskey cocktail which was fantastic, wife had the gin and blue cheese cocktail which was also good. The waiter was quick and very personable, and the food was delicious. If we come back to Vancouver we will definitely come back.

We were staying nearby and noticed this restaurant as we walked past, came back and they found us a place to sit, despite being fully booked; excellent starters and mussels to follow and a good choice of wine by the bottle or glass. Its very busy and has a nice ambience, the servers were very knowledgeable on the beers and... More

Had dinner here in October with friends. Everything was excellent from the Fig Martini to the mussels to dessert. The sommelier was very helpful in selecting pairings for our courses!

Went here on a Saturday night for dinner without reservations... we didn't wait long for a high bar table. The service, food and atmosphere is excellent. We were very happy to have the sommelier recommend wine pairings for our dinner. Oh and a must have is The Blue Fig Martini, so good and served with a side of blue cheese.... More

Want an upbeat vibe in a gorgeous space with great food? This is it. One of Vancouver's faves. It's hip, it's gorgeous and the food is delicious.

Chambar recently moved and the new space is lovely. It's two floors and has a great vibe to it. Beautiful blown glass bulbs string along the exposed rafters. Prepare to spend $$$ for sure, but it's worth it. We had a lovely Riesling and a few starters. For entrees, my lamb tagine was the best I've ever had and all... More

We visited Chambar with a group of friends and the beer selection was great as always, if you like Belgian beer of course. The new location is nice and light as well as being bigger. The staff are very friendly. The food selection is extensive and very good - try the lamb tagine.

We went here for dine out on the weekend and were seated in the large downstairs area of the restaurant. The place was pretty packed and the seating is pretty close to your neighbours. The dine out menu was pretty good. We both had the seared scallops with a mint pea puree to start which was quite good. I had... More

I went to lunch this week at the Chambar Restaurant. First, its located in a tough part of town and I worried about parking my car around there. Second problem was the group of smokers out front of the restaurant that gave it a seedy feeling with butts all around. I just wanted something quick so I had the venison... More
