Lovely place. Great service.

Visited Vancouver in mid-July and booked this restaurant in advance. Great weather enabled us to dine al fresco where we received attentive service and had a great meal. The only negative is that we were not offered a second cup of coffee with our dessert. Great wine by the glass and yummy... read more

Chambar always has great food and it is a nice place but today in the main dining room it was a sauna. 5 stars for food but 0 stars for the heat indoors. Could not enjoy the meal and actually could not wait to get out it was so hot. Neighbouring tables were climbing on the chairs trying to open... More

Visited Vancouver in mid-July and booked this restaurant in advance. Great weather enabled us to dine al fresco where we received attentive service and had a great meal. The only negative is that we were not offered a second cup of coffee with our dessert. Great wine by the glass and yummy mussels. Definitely a highlight of the trip!

We went on an anniversary date for a evening without the kids. The setting was fabulous and the food delicious. The decor really helps the feeling that we had escaped to a different European city. Can't wait to go back.

Three for dinner at this Belgian/modern west coast eatery. Best selection of Belgian and micro brewery beers we have seen. Food was excellent: halibut, venison and a rare steak. Great atmosphere and expert service.

Can't wait to go back for more waffles and brunch. Service was great and we had a huge party of 14 over a really busy World Cup Soccer weekend. The space is inspiring the menu is fresh and the location was perfect. Will definitely recommend and go back - often!

We dropped into Chambar for brunch on a Saturday. The decor is very nice and comfortable, service was also very good. The waffles were great as were all the sides. I highly recommend trying Chambar out.

Overall excellent experience, great service, good selection of BC wines with some rare and seldom seen labels. Great food presentation and quality of food but all 10 different plates we had had too many flavors going on which was a shame as it took away for the key ingredients and its quality.

It pains me to have to write this review because I really (really!) wanted to love my recent dining experience and just didn't. It was my first time at the new location and wanted to have a better experience than the last 2 times, which were fine but again not worth the fan-fair in my opinion. For the size of... More

New look, and a huge patio which is very popular this season with Vancouver's unusually hot and sunny summer. We ate indoors because we wanted air conditioning. The beer menu is enormous and the wine selection is wonderful, but we chose beer because of the well chosen craft beers. Wow, we loved them, and I am a newcomer yo beer,... More
