Since we were not in a rush the 2 1/2 hours it took for dinner was not a hardship and the food made up for it. However if you need better service I would say skip the restaurant. Otherwise we truly enjoyed the food and we were warned they only had one person in the kitchen (we were forgotten about... More

While walking from the train station to our hotel, hot, tired, and hungry, we stumbled across this gem of a restaurant. Upon entering, we were assisted with our bags and warmly welcomed. The entire staff was friendly and very engaging. The beer selection was outstanding consisting only of Belgium beers and the wine list was perfect. The menu was filled... More

This restaurant seems to hint that it serves Belgian cuisine. Even in Belgium it would stand out! Awesome at food, great decor, professional service,...what more can I say? You must have the Moules Congolaises and the Croquettes d'Agneau. Combine with Chambar Ale! Could eat here every day.

First impression was that it was going to be good, it certainly is a nice space, modern & woody. Arrived a little early for our reservation & were seated on the patio sofas for a drink. And then forgotten about. When I asked when the table would be ready, they admitted they'd forgotten & given a couple of tables away.... More

This is a very trendy and noisy restaurant. We had a poor table and the service is a bit patch although our main waitress was very good. Food was good not outstanding and its not a place we would rush back too.

Ugh. I've been to Chambar twice in the last month and have been completely and utterly disappointed on both occasions. First, was dinner. Although we had a reservation, it took us way too long to check-in for our table. There was only one flustered (but friendly) hostess working the front door, so it took a while to even be acknowledged... More

Visited at spur of moment. No booking so we sat in bar section. We were given a table outside. This was a blessing as the bar music was too loud. The table was small and it was very hard to cramp all the plates and cutlery. Wish there was a placemat for the cutlery rather then resting them on the... More

Tables are small ... plates are huge ... available space on your table is a challenge and elbow space. Don't ever say party of 5 ... you'll get a table for 4. Plates are way too large for the table. Food was good. Patio has some interesting non-clients throwing comments ... neighbourhood still has a homeless problem but that's another... More

My husband and I have always liked Chambar. So, when they informed us they were moving, I had initially had reservations- I loved the vibe of the original place and was concerned it would not be the same. My bad. It's BETTER. Upon entering, I actually gasped at the beautiful interiors- gorgeous artisanal "bubble" lamps adorn the somewhat distressed wooden... More

We've been going to Chamber and Medina for couple of years, and we got really disappointed that Medina Cafe got relocated, but at a same time excited that Chamber iserves brunch and lunch in their new location. So we gave it a try and just loved it. The place is really huge so there would be a lot less wait... More
