We actually visited this restaurant twice in the same evening! We had decided to go to a hockey game while visiting Vancouver, and since we gotten to the arena quite early to buy our tickets, we found this place to have a couple drinks/snacks before the game. It had been recommended by a friend, so we were really glad that... More

I ate at Chambar because it was recommended by the hostess at Le Crocodile (my favorite Vancouver upscale restaurant). I was told I COULD wear my dressy outfit there but that was not the case. I felt out of place in a pretty Christmas dress. So don't worry about it being too high end to dress casually. :-) I have... More

If you plan to go to Chambar on the weekends, be sure to get a Reso. My last visit was with a gaggle of ladies after the fleetwood Mac concert. Convientantly located close to the Arena, stadium or queen Elizabeth theatre it was the perfect location for us to discus the show and catch up. The cocktail list is great... More

This place is awesome both for food and vibes. Beautifully decorated. Food is really good and mussels are exactly what you can expect. ‘’Petit Four Platter’’ is just perfect! They have a large selection of beers from Belgium. We really liked our experience.

I had weekend branch with my girl friend. I expected good service and food, because I saw it in one of the best restaurant in Province article. We escorted to downstairs which was less noisy, by the window -very nice. We ordered main, waffle and drinks. Main dish was very good, I had meat dish and my friend had salmon... More

As a beer geek, a stop at Chambar was a must my last time in Vancouver. The Belgian dishes were great too, but the unique beers available were what stood out the most to me. The atmosphere was nice as well.

We booked our table a few weeks in advance as we were celebrating a special occaision and hoped for a good table. We were seated in a booth at the very back of the main level, which was probably the very best place to be, due to the noise level in the restaurant. Our server Claire was very knowledegeable about... More
