You can never go wrong in having a meal at Cactus Club Cafe. The service is very friendly and the food excellent and affordable. A homey atmosphere. Love the Tuna Tataki, the Rice Bowl and the yam fries.

This is one of my favourite restaurants to meet for lunch. Location is very central, right on transit lines, and most importantly the quality of food and service is fantastic and consistent. We are always greeted with a smile and a "can do" attitude. Servers are pleasant, attentive, helpful; menu is appealing and varied and food is delicious. We also... More

Well, we met our daughter and her partner here for a lovely lunch. We each ordered drinks. I'm not a beer drinker so chose a wine new to me and asked for a taste first. The friendly and efficient waiter brought it over immediately. To my surprise I didn't like it so I ordered a 9-ounce glass of another wine.... More

Ate here for a 'date night' before Bard on the Beach and had an excellent meal. They were featuring a combo menu with appy, main & dessert, and I LOVE it when restaurants do this! Food arrived in reasonable time, and was yummy. Server was very good: knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive, without being irritating. [side note: there are lots of... More

We liked the decor, the upbeat, urban mood of the place. Service is attentive, efficient. The staff are sharply outfitted and extremely well groomed and very beautiful. The menu choices are great. I had the BBQ duck sandwich - to die for!

I'm so so on this place. It continues to be a hit or miss in terms of experience. Whether it's food, service, or general atmosphere, I can never quite put my finger on it, but none of these places ever WOW me. However, the servers are really pretty (this sometimes comes with a bit of attitude), and the food is... More

all i can say here is BUTTER SAUCE??? what? I am a lover of yams, squashes, and all of the pumpkin type family....so yam fries for an appie, butter nut squash ravioli soaked in a buttery sauce for dinner, and a cactus lime margarita is pretty darn close to what I would want for my last meal...my only complaint is... But not on par with smaller, independent restaurants I would give four stars to. Three and half is more like it. Still, considering that they're almost as common as Starbucks, what the Cactus Club does it does very well. The food will never amaze but it's reliably well prepared from seemingly* fresh ingredients, and the choices feel modern and yet... More
