Fabulous sea food selection, really great and attentive service. Must have reservation, they honored timing quite close. We ate inside, but would have been even nicer to be able to eat on the outside deck...maybe next time. Smoked Sockeye Salmon Terrine was superb. Raw Oyster samples were WOW! Turbot was really nice, as was the Sable Fish...prepared extremely well. We... More

This is a fantastic restaurant. It has a really buzzy atmosphere and the service is very friendly and efficient and our waitress had a great knowledge about all the dishes. We had a fantastic crab salad and sushi to start, everything is very fresh and beautifully presented. This was followed by sublime scallops, turbot and halibut. A work of art... More

Blue Water Grill excelled both in food and service. We had a very charming waitress and the Japanese style of traditional dishes were incredibly tasty. The wine list was great and when we did not enjoy our first selection, the restaurant helped identify a better choice for us with tastings. This would be one of our top dining recommendations for... Chose this restaurant for a special occasion as we enjoyed it so much last year on our first visit to Vancouver. Just as good (better?) this year - fabulous oysters, wine chilled to perfection, good service. Lovely.

I just went to Blue Water Cafe last week on a trip to Vancouver. Not only was the food impeccably prepared and presented, but the service was outstanding as well. We ended up closing down the restaurant but they were patient and let us linger over our dessert instead of pushing us out. We had such a fantastic time that... More

This place exceeded my expectations and I cannot wait to go back. The ambience is really nice and the staff really takes care of you. I was also impressed with how the waiter offered for me to taste the two wines I was interested in before I had to commit to a whole glass of something I had never had.... More

Our first meal in Vancouver and it was excellent. Adrian our French waiter talked us through the menu - very knowledgeable and informative, just as it should be at a high end restaurant. Lots of choice and the wine list is extensive to say the least, albeit imported wines are expensive. We chose a local BC wine which was really... More

A high-end seafood restaurant at Hamilton Street, Blue Water is one of the better ones. Starters Scallops and Crab Salad, whilst beautifully presented, just okay. The Sablefish (mains) recommended. The Raspberry Macaron with Pistachio Ice Cream, good. Sensible sized food portions ideal for light eaters. Food well presented. Good wine list. Service good. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Worth a... More

We all loved our meals. The tomato sauce with seafood was heavenly. The dessert were so tempting but we were so full. My husband and I went back the next day and shared the apple flan. It was very delicious. The caprese salad was divine. Jeff the jots was so friendly and so welcoming.

Busy place in reclaimed warehouse area . Innovative fish restaurant with what I guess to be an Japanese influence . We had the tasting starter which included salmon , scallop cerviche , tuna and various other fish starters and for mains we both had fish . Overhaul the meal was pricey but good ,it was though spoilt in part by... More
