So romantic and old world charm. Just so special.

Bacchus and the Wedgewood Hotel are one of the longest standing hotels and restaurants in Vancouver and for very good reason. The are both exceptional and so incredibly romantic. I love this hotel and restaurant. Just beautiful.

Always warm, welcoming, old school service with classy piano being played in the background. We love the wine and the excellent food, especially if you're lucky enough to get one of their booths with comfy couch and view of your fellow diners.

We were staying at the wedgewood and decided to eat here. It has the feel of a Gentlemans club, very old style and old fashioned. My wife asked the staff if she could have a combined starter which they produced very readily. They were extremely helpful and friendly and the food was superb. Well worth a visit

I was at Bacchus for lunch recently. The place is an "old-world" restaurant and quite formal. Service was very good and very attentive. The food was good, but not fantastic, and I found it to be very expensive. I thought it woudl be better...

A lovely decadent experience at this 5 star restaurant. The food is impeccable and the service is perfect. I would highly recommend eating here for any occasion. We booked for our Xmas dinner last year and they did not disappoint!

Collapsed in the lounge after seeing the USA WOMEN dispatch JPN in the World Cup. We are staying at the Wedgwood hotel and spa and decided to stay at our comfortable table in the lounge for dinner. What followed for me was the single best dinner during our visit to Canada. I had the halibut dish with risotto with mushrooms...stunningly... More

3 girlfriends decided to go for a pre-dinner drink at the Bacchus Lounge at about 4:30pm on a Thursday. It was very quiet with two other tables or so. We were seated by the window and the seating is very comfortable, the drink prices were average price for a hotel (gin and tonic $9.50, proseco and st. germaine $11.50, pimms... More

Visited Vancouver for a conference recently. Got into YVR in the late morning after a 5 hour flight. Decided to try Bacchus for lunch on the recommendation of a colleague. Ambiance and Service: Classy, warm and inviting. Very comfortable seating, elegant decor. Service was outstanding; though we were fresh off the plane and wearing our "comfy clothes" rather than the... More

My Mother held her 83rd birthday here. The staff were very attentive to all our needs. The table was exquisitely clean and very well laid out with nothing out of place. There was a fabulous menu and any of the items could be changed if someone had an allergy which one of the party had. There was no complaints about... More

This is a lovely little place in another trendy downtown hotel. The food here is tasty and reliable, however as it is in an upscale hotel it is pricey. The ambiance is warm and inviting and we found it a comfortable environment where a relaxing meal was a pleasure.
