we had from the start to the end a great dinner experience, very welcoming staff/servers and a very talented crew in the kitchen. love the wine-list lots of BC wines, and the local dishes. when in the mood for french/traditional food this is a great place.
We arrived and were seated in the small private dining area off the side of the restaurant. We have eaten here many times but had never experienced this room which is quite intimate and romantic.
We have had many meals here and this was no different, excellent food and service. Started with the smoked salmon appetizer which was absolutely fresh...

This should be the number 1 restaurant in vancouver.staff were so so so friendly on arrival, never an empty glass :) The food was elegant, tastefull and appetite satisfied.relaxing atmospheare with a log fire and piano man. Cant say anything more other than, majestic. Oh,we met Goldie Hawn too :) Danny

Our waiter, a french guy, was very...

Very lively bar with lovely live piano bar leads to intimate restaurant retreat. I've eaten here twice, at least 3 years apart, and the service and quality continues to be superior. Wine selections and recommendations were excellent, and the sablefish did not disappoint!
Went for breakfast, was disappointed. The menu is shockingly unimaginative, with most fare that you'd find at Denny's. Nobody on the table was pleasantly surprised by the meal. My eggs were poorly cooked, the sour dough bread was of mediocre quality and the chicken and basil sausage was not good.
Have not been for dinner, perhaps I may give it...
