Convenient, exceptional food and service and an overall very nice experience, particularly for a female traveling on her own.

We normally try to leave the hotel we are staying in for our evening meal but after a long day of sightseeing, we opted for the Hidden Tasting Bar off the lobby of the Westin. What a great experience. We just had starter sized items; one each, but they were more than sufficient and excellent.

This is an amazing pre show place to go... Second floor of the Westin... Tapas refreshed menu ... Single and shared plates... Experienced service... Nice wine collection ... Have been three times... And each time the food and service were great

The sable fish wrapped in prosciutto was a fine item with only one flaw, an all-too-common one in that the fish arrived at the table just too much on the cool side. The accompanying vegetables were fine and hot however and even the plate was nicely warm. Do we have synchronization issues in that kitchen? Otherwise, I enjoyed this venue... More

Met my daughter there as we were staying at the hotel and its so convenient. The wine list is decent and we both had a dry New Zealand wine "Oyster Bay" savblan, it was a Sunday evening and it was quiet, we had calamari with out wine and got good service, the place is nothing out of the ordinary but... We stayed three nights in the hotel and were pleasantly surprised at how excellent the restaurant was. We had dinner there two nights and ate breakfast there three days. Everyone in the restaurant was very professional and the service was great. The prices are very fair and the presentation and taste of the food was outstanding. Would highly recommend this... More

After enjoying a sunny Sunday drive around the world famous Stanley Park we decided to wander into the Hidden Testing Bar at the Westin Grand for a quick bite to nibble on. Sushi rolls, popcorn shrimp, calamari and flatbread left us no change from a "pinky" (CAD50), with the exception of the soggy squid tubes (the tentacles however were nice... More

It was a last minute spontaneous family and friends meeting-for-drinks after work. The location of this second-floor bar offers a great view of the Vancouver Public Library across the street from the comfort of big cushy seats in an intimate setting. Our server was friendly and got our drinks in short order while we waited for the later arrivals of... More

NIce sized dishes, reasonably priced, interesting combos. Love the draperies between the restaurant and the lobby.

I thought I'd check out Hidden Tasting Bar with a couple of friends for Dine Out Vancouver. Our experience started off on the wrong foot when the first thing the waiter told us was that we either all order from the Dine Out menu or not at all. As ridiculous as that is on it's own, it came across as... More
