Vancouver Dines Out 3 course tasting menu $38.00 ( not including wine) is a great opportunity to dine at this posh Downtown restaurant overlooking Vancouver and Bay. Cuisine was delicious, with a few choices within set memu. Duck confit was a generous portion and delicious. Reserve a table though as can be busy. Due to the Festival, the restaurant was... More

Restaurant was very busy being around the Christmas season, however service was excellent. Food was also very good in terms of quality, presentation and taste. The chef I am told is from Austria and has a good blend of European touch to the food.

All four of us ordered the chilled... More

The King crab was amazing. We had meat dishes as well, all the food was great. If I went back, I would get the crab again, and again, and again....

The food quality, preparation and taste here are extraordinary. The menu is well thought out, beautifully prepared and served and the view is spectacular. This is the third time I have eaten in this restaurant and it is 5 stars every time.

This is the third time we've dined at this restaurant in the last few years, and once again it was an outstanding experience! Everything from the amuse bouche to the complimentary anniversary mini-cake with a candle was a treat for the palate. We had two different appetizers and two different meals, and all were delicious. The staff were friendly and... More

My Wife & I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary dinner at this restaurant and we were not dissapointed! From the moment we were greeted, it was an "experience to remember". The service was exceptional, each meal presentation appeared like a "work of art" & very tasteful, even though it was evening, the view was awsome (at night the 5 sails... More

One really can't separate the experience of dining at Five Sails from the spectacular vista of the harbour and North Shore mountains, which must surely count among the loveliest restaurant views anywhere in the world. To add to the magic, on our Saturday night visit the illuminated carol ships added a splash of colour to the water (search "carol ships... More
