We really like the Five Sails-the ambiance, quality of food, presentation, service, the fantastic view of the bay and the Stanley park make it the best over all restaurant in Vancouver.

One of the top restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining at. Service is first class. The food was excellent, fresh and delicious. Great view of the harbour. I have absolutely nothing bad to say. Can't wait to dine here again.

Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough, the whole experience was excellent, from the friendly greeting, the efficient and unobtrusive service, the quality of the food, the sommeliers knowledge and recommendations and the views over the harbour. A fitting end to our last night in Vancouver.

As a conference attendee I was lucky enough to be invited to a special luncheon at Five sails. We were greeted with sparkling wine and snacks. The lunch itself was exceptional and was served with a very nice wine by an expert wait staff. Each item was a taste treat in itself. Dessert was no exception. If this is representative... More

You cannot ask for more than great food (Grand Marnier soufflé), service and view. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal of fresh caught fish and prawns J n E

We were very surprised with our meal here. Hotel restaurants can be spotty, but this one did not disappoint. The service was very good and the food was excellent.

Our hotel concierge set up a dinner for 12 to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We did a set menu in their private room overlooking the harbor at sunset. The food was outstanding especially the duck and grand mariner soufflés . They treated us like VIP's and made it a very special night to cap off our vacation.

From the drinks to desserts, everything was great. I had halibut as my entrée and it was cooked perfectly. Our waiter had been at Five Sails for many years and was quite frankly the best waiter I had ever encountered. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or a romantic evening. I can't say enough about how wonderful... More

The view of the Vancouver harbour as you dine is lovely. The service was very good. The food was wonderful - fresh, beautifully presented and very tasty. The Sable fish was one of the best meals I have ever had.

When visiting Vancouver recently we had a very memorable dining experience at Five Sails in Canada Place. It is expensive but the ambiance , service, food and wine offerings warrant the $$$$ rating. The attention to detail is impeccable. The views are spectacular! The dinner began with a delicious amuse-buche from award-winning Chef Ernst Dorfler. Each of the four of... More
