Food selections were very limited but prepared to order. A bit pricey but the service was very good.

fabulous to find such an excellent restaurant in the hotel where we were staying - made for a marvelous meal at the end of a long day of driving without much fuss or need to venture far from our room.

We have dined here for some of our most important functions and we have never been disappointed. Opentable works well for reserving a table and if you book far enough in advance, you can get a window seat. No Opentable points are awarded. Menu is a bit limited but that is only because what the chef turns out is outstanding.... More

Located in the Pan Pacific Hotel on the harbor. The view out over the harbor is breathtaking. As dusk fell we watched the bridge lights flick on. Service was fast and attentive. We had the five course tasting menu. My wife had the wine pairings, while I had a martini. While the food was definitely above average, it did not... More

We stayed at the Pan American hotel in Vancouver and only our last day of three did we eat in the hotel restaurant. The chef was from Austria and he must rank well up with the top chefs in the world. The service was faultless and very professional. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant....great food, great view,... More

Restaurant with a view. We enjoyed our dinner. It is expensive but you will not regret it. Ask for a table at the window.

And that is mostly true for this restaurant - it is all about the view. So be sure to get there BEFORE your appointed time so you can snag a window table. The view of the harbor is breathtaking. Additionally, the food is very, very good (and expensive), with service to match.

We really like the Five Sails-the ambiance, quality of food, presentation, service, the fantastic view of the bay and the Stanley park make it the best over all restaurant in Vancouver.

One of the top restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining at. Service is first class. The food was excellent, fresh and delicious. Great view of the harbour. I have absolutely nothing bad to say. Can't wait to dine here again.

Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough, the whole experience was excellent, from the friendly greeting, the efficient and unobtrusive service, the quality of the food, the sommeliers knowledge and recommendations and the views over the harbour. A fitting end to our last night in Vancouver.
