Brunch on two Sunday afternoons in May. On the first occasion the restaurant was busy with a 'buzz'. Food was good (braised pork hash - $13.65 inc tax, steak sandwich -$16.80 inc tax, Egg Benedict - $12.50 inc tax), service friendly and efficient (but see below!!!!),Wine - a Pinot Grigio at $35 ($8.50 per glass) was fine. The odd -... More

Complete Trash. This place disturbs the neighbourhood with loud music despite repeated complaints. Pretends to be a night club for hipsters. Ugly restaurant, horrble employees, food not fit for pigs. Only the bridge and tunnel crowd waste their time and money here. No one with an ounce of taste or intelligence would be caught in here. AVOID.

My daughter and I stopped for dinner at Subeez before the ZZTop concert. It was 5:30ish so the restaurant wasn't busy. Lots of interesting art on the back wall and generally a "good feel" to the place. Service was great and very accommodating. We shared the Calamari which was a 7 out of 10 and my daughter had the Beets... More

Went at midnight, so not busy. The service was very good, however the music was so loud it was hard to carry on a conversation. Very unique art work on the walls, worth it just to view the art work. Ordered the nachos, generous appy for 2 people. The house made taco chips gave an interesting (in a good way)... More

We went there for a Sunday branch and not planing to go back. Small dishes , especially for the price, and terrible terrible service - after we ordered the waitress came back saying they don't one of the dishes since they just started that yesterday (so why is that on the regular menu ??) They brought a different coffee then... More

We had the strip loin steak, the Cajun chicken wrap, and a few drinks. Very impressed with the steak, the rest was okay. We have to agree with some of the other comments on here about service, it isn't the best, the hostess seemed out of it and the server made cheeky comments - definitely below average compared to most... I had never been here before. We went late evening after a concert, so in their defence they were in the middle of a late night unexpected rush. Still, the food was mostly average. Two of our party had a spinach salad that was described as extremely plain - barely dressed, pistachio crusted goat cheese ended up being just goat... More

Went for lunch . Salmon on a baguette was OK but the spinach quinoa salad was unimaginative and boring. But the biggest impression I had of this place was the service was slow and inattentive

Went to Subeez for dinner and drinks before an 8pm show at the Orpheum, where we met some friends. $5 caeser special on Sunday, unaware of any food specials. Food was decent, and worth the price. Drinks are a little expensive. Although near the end of our meal is when it went downhill. We sat with our empty plates for... More

We have been to Subeez before and enjoyed the food and atmosphere so were looking forward to having a combined celebration of our and our daughter and son-in-law's anniversaries. This time the food was mediocre. The tuna ordered medium was well done, the rice dried out and the bacon cheeseburger nothing special. The preferred beer was on the menu but... More
