Even though it is nearby some dance and strip clubs, the environment was nice. I had the shepherd's pie and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were quite tasty. Their breakfast buffet ($18 for two for Comfort Inn travelers) was decent. The eggs were a bit spongy, plates were small, but there was a good choice.

The morning breakfast buffet for Comfort Inn hotel guests was good. We didn't try any of the other pub grub. Beer selection was conspicuously heavy on lager, pilsner, and light pale ale - Guinness was only dark beer on tap and they had bottled Smithwicks. No porters, brown ale or Belgians. Magner's cider was available.Anheuser-Busch Shock-Top was priced as a... More

Visited for dinner. Sat at a table away from the bar to have a bit of quiet. All of a sudden the audio for the hockey game came on. It was painfully loud. We were told it was turned down, but I noticed no reduction in the volume. We were relocated to another area of the pub, but the volume... More

Back when I was living in Vancouver I used to pop in here fairly often. Geoff and the other staff were always up for a bit of banter and poured some good local pints as well. The food is standard pub fare and hits the spot. It's a great place to go after the Whitecaps match or for sports nights... More

Went here for an early supper before a concert, ordered the fish and chips - portion size was OK, it came with 1 piece of fish and a bowl of fries. The tartar sauce was great, fries were very crispy, but in tiny pieces, and there could have been more. The server was very nice while we paid, however she... More

Pretty much your Classic Irish bar and the food was pretty good. I had the cheese sticks, they were amazing. Then I had the chicken pot pie, which was pretty tasty. I also had my first Caesar and that was great!

Had a couple of good beers and good hockey playing on TV, good piece of Ireland in vancouver. But, the waitress charged me a beer that I didn't had. Try to explain but she just went away to serve other table. I didn't mind the extra 7 buck. But I'll never going there again.

My wife and I were staying in downtown Vancouver and we asked the person at the front desk to recommend a place for casual dining. She recommended Doolin's and it was exactly what we were hoping to find. When we walked in I wondered if we had made a good choice, but as soon as we me our server, Niki,... More

Doolin's is conveniently located on the busy street of Granville. It has a good selection of beer, good music, great staff and yummy food. I try to go as often as I can.
