The Happiest Hour in Vancouver

Ambience and value, service was excellent as served by Won. Loved the Salmon Flatbread and the assortment of Sushi and rolls. Happy Hour starts at 2:30 PM 7 days a week. Yummy!

It was our daughters 24th birthday so my wife and I took her and her older sister for the dine out Vancouver. Most of us had the steak and half lobster tail. Steak was done to perfection, but we have never seen such a small lobster tail - a prawn would have been bigger and nicer. As we realize the... More

I was in last night with my boyfriend for dine out and we had such a great time! The place was packed but we got sat right away. Our server Laura was the best server I've had anywhere. She was fast, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We both had the sushi duo and some oysters. I had never had oysters so... More

This is the second time in a week, I have eaten here. This time with two friends, at a booth right behind the hostess station inside. First off, we had Tina M as our server, and if you don't think service helps to make a meal, then you may be a little off the mark. The service was probably the... More

We had a group of ten and ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees. Everyone was please with what they ordered. Presentation was nice. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and appropriately casual. Very nice, up-to-date decor. Located close to convention hotels. Available outside /street dining would have been fun, but it was quite rainy and cool that night.

When I walked in, I instantly was reminded of being at Coast several months prior on another business trip. Then, we had a private room stuffed with about 20 colleagues and their significant others, a memorable evening to celebrate a business deal. This time around, on a Thursday night, there were nine of us accommodated on short notice. We again... More

We ate at the Coast twice last year via Dine Out 2015 so this year we had to return because their food, ambiance, service, wines are OUTSTANDING! The three of us all had the Dine Out Menu along with some sides--fried brussel sprouts; parmesan fries; and a dozen of their Miyagi fresh oysters. As for drinks, we had a bottle... More

After having Air Canada bump us off our flight to Honolulu we had a night to spare in Vancouver and rather than eat the airport hotel food our family headed into the city where we stumbled in to Coast. What a great night we had! The food is excellent with all four of us enjoying the meals we were served... More

We had dinner here and tried the Dine Out menu. Absolutley fab service from Crawford. Tried Sushi for the first time which was nice and had a delicious steak. Pudding was great too! Good wine selections as well.

If you're not on the mailing list for the Glowbal Group, you should be...every so often they come up with a fabulous deal like the 4-course meal for 2 ppl at only $80 ++. That's right - only $40 per person plus tax and gratuities of course. And of course there were certain restrictions but nothing you can't deal with... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
