This restaurant was fantastic. It's located right on the water, had great live music, and the food was great! We were looking for something fun and on the water with great oysters and this was the perfect place. If you're looking for a new type of oyster... "KUSSHI" if you haven't had them, get them.

We dined here On a Sunday evening. The food was great & our server, Ashley, took great care of us. She was helpful explaining the different menu choices. They have a good variety to chose from with a nice wine list. If the dining room is full try the bar area as they have open seating. We would return again.... More

We found Cardero's walking the docks and were lucky enough to get a table for 2 on the outside deck. The weather was perfect. The shrimp dumplings were great. The Caesar salad was good (nothing special) and the halibut excellent (still in season). We had a terrific waiter that was excellent at his craft. The evening was terrific.

Our family of four decided to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon at Cardero's. Two of the four are locals, two visitors, but it was the first time any of us were visiting. I'm normally wary of popular restaurants but everything about our afternoon turned out to be just right. We found a great table with couches in the lounge and... More

Had many good evenings here as a couple and with many friends previous. Huge disappointment this time. Wife ordered the prawn cocktail which was unusually tasteless and rubbery, which I confirmed. Waiter admitted they were farmed prawns from Thailand!! Hello: low grade supermarket level. East Coast lobster arrived already split, but tail was very poor flavour. Waitress advised they were... We stopped to eat here for lunch. We only wanted a light meal at lunch time and ordered the sea fish tacos and a separate order of ribs. Both were very good. The bar also had an excellent choice of beers and largers. The service was very good. I recommend

We had dinner at this location while in Vancouver. This is a great place with such nice friendly staff. Meals were explained in details when ask and was one of the best I had in a restaurant. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. There is an outside patio as well.

I was in town for work and luckily Cardero's was right by. The calamari was the best I've had an I ate it each of my 3 visits. It was very busy each time and I just hunkered down at the bar.

It was about 15 minute walk from our hotel on Robson Street. We visited on a weeknight, and while some people had reservations (which I suppose enables you to request a window table) we did not. It was bustling at dinnertime with people dressed in everything from heels and suit jackets to workout gear. The wait staff wore jeans. The... More

We went to this restaurant twice during our visit to Vancouver. The first night we had their cedar-plank salmon. YUM The next time we were just looking for an appetizer and enjoyed their fish tacos, another YUM. More than anything, this is happening place. Plan to wait to eat on the open-air deck or restaurant or settle on eating in... More
