Very good choice for Yaletown night out, we sat in the courtyard and had a feel as if in an old bistro in a corner of Paris. Service was outstanding, our server was very helpful in picking out a BC wine to our taste that we enjoyed very much. Interesting menu, good variety - we shared the pate appetizer that... More

We booked our table for the Taste of Yaletown menu at Brix a couple of weeks in advance. We arrived for our 7.30 table but our table wasn't ready, so we were brought to George bar downstairs. After ten minutes, the manager came to assure us a table would open up soon, but we weren't seated until 8pm. We were... More

The restaurant is everything people make of it and more. Our group sat in this beautiful courtyard and enjoyed some drinks before our food arrived. I skipped the appetizers and went straight to the food, which was a hit. The duck breast I ordered was extremely well-prepared and tasty. Prices were high but the environment and decor of the restaurant... More

Brix was a great find in Yaletown. The tables in the courtyard are very popular. This is fine dining at a reasonable price. I had the ling cod, shrimp & mussels entree in a curry sauce that was divine.

Loved the location and the ambience. We were seated in the glass roof encased courtyard and they had heaters for the cooler evening temperatures. Loved the flight of wines - great intro to BC red wines and all three of us loved the food. Portions were good and the wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. Good for dinner with... More

Friends from home told us that when we visited Vancouver we had to eat at Brix. And bow were we glad we did. Lovely setting with good jazz playing quietly in the background. Great salads: kale and a wonderful lamb bacon. The mains were equally excellent: halo tu and a wonderful butternut squash risotto with scallops. Excellent and reasonably priced... More

First time here, and pleasantly surprised. The entrance is an enclosed garden area and it feels like you’re elsewhere and not in the heart of Yaletown. I service was excellent, the server was very knowledgeable on the food and wine. I had the Cornish hen and it was perfect, not dry at all, which is a concern for a lot... More

Searching for a Restaurant on a Monday, we were delighted to find this one open. Food was well prepared, service inside was a bit slow because of the live music outside. Nice decor, very classic.

We had dinner here one night with our two children. The waiter was very helpful with menu and drink suggestions for us. It was a bit pricey, but well worth it.

We will always be forever grateful to the Brix team for making our wedding a night to remember. The food was amazing, the venue is beautiful and the staff is fantastic! We have people complimenting us on our beautiful wedding. The food was out of this world! We had a few people tell us it was the best steak they... More
