One of the Best!!!

We had dinner here after my daughter's graduation ceremony and we were very happy with it. The ambiance of the courtyard and restaurant are very pleasing-old world and new world together. The menu is very interesting and it was hard to make a choice. My daughter settled on some nice Wild BC salmon (delicious!), my mother on some rock fish,... More

Had a lovely romantic dinner prior to our concert. Tuna Tataki appetizer enjoyed with recommended Reisling was perfect. My boyfriend enjoyed the mussels with thinly sliced garlic toast. I then had the Salmon with amazing spice combination and boyfriend really enjoyed his flat iron steak. Desserts were amazing as well. We will definitely be back!

Had a reservation via open table that we showed up late for! But they had our table waiting. The meal was amazing. We started with foie gras, and carpaccio. AMAZING! for entres we had the duck and my partner had the flat iron steak. Again, fantastic. The service was good, but we did feel a bit rushed. A bit of... More

The hotel entrance is not exactly where you think it will be, but once you find it, you will be glad you did! We sat in ther courtyard atrium, which is heated. It was delightful, romantic, and quieter than sitting inside. They do have to balance the outside heaters for those complaining of being too warm (so they turn the... More

We dined at The Brix last night for dinner. I recommend eating in the courtyard because it feels European, is well lit and has an ambiance about it. Usually this space is booked up first then people eat inside. Get there by 6:45pm, and there should be a table in the courtyard waiting for you. Later than that, it's inside... More

We had trepidations dining with an allergic child but kitchen was more than accommodating. Courtyard was great ambience but little drafty. My duck breast was perfect as was kale salad. My 12 yr old managed to devour a whole lamb shank, testament to the quality of food. Even "bubble boy" finished his tender loin which is rare feat . We'll... More
