This was our second visit to Paulie's Kitchen/The Distillery, which are two restaurants in one, located just a half block from the Yaletown Canadaline Station. Again, we were not disappointed. The first time was for drinks, specifically to sample their special on premise distillery products. They have perfected a terrific vodka and gin, you cannot go wrong if you like... More

The food and service are average at best. My friends and I stopped by after the game for a bite to eat and a drink. We found the service to be on the slow side. The portions we received were good. The food itself didn't have that fresh Italian flavour. The prices are decent but there are many other better... More

Went there for a girl's get together and was blown away as soon as I walked in. Unreal retrofit of this room...we're talking spectacular decor and loft meets bistro setting. Which is why when the food and service was really average, it was a let down. Was hoping this was going to be the new hot spot in the hood!... More

It's a good place to go if you aren't willing to spend big or you want a light meal. The Pasta all Vodka was something unique but I would have preferred the Tiramisu in a bowl instead of a glass. The rest of the menu was OK but it did look more Italian-American than Italian. If you are looking for... More

Where do I start? We had a group of 14 for a birthday. Thought it would be a great idea for the Taste of Yaletown deal going on. We made reservations for 10, but ended up with 14. They told us that we would have to move tables because another party arrived, and the seats would be needed. Not a... More

4 of us dined on a Saturday night. We were seated in the lounge at a comfortable table. The waitress was friendly, but at times she would disappear for longer than appropriate. The wine menu was lacking a good selection of wine. They had a couple of bottles in the $40 – $60 range…and they were out of one of... More

Great location, very nice patio, and great wait staff, but the food is poor at best, not recommended unless you just want drinks with friends. The menu is quite boring, just american-italian standards. We had calamari to start, which was rubbery, and greasy, tasted like it was fried in old oil. Veal parm tasted like it was cooked the day... Paulie's Kitchen is an ideal hangout spot if you're with friends. The adjoining "The Distillery" lounge is phenomenal for a night of drinking with their couches and sofa's. This review is about Paulie's Kitchen however. Alright, well the Calamari is terrible, Paulie's Leftover's Salad is great and would be fantastic if they had included artichokes in it YUMM! The Crostini's... More

Nice setting, patio and inside seating. Loved the folding doors and décor. No one inside as it was great night and everyone seated on patio. Has a "Distillery" attached and also local craft beer on tap. Loved the share salads and" appys". Pasta was plentiful and good quality. Would recommend this restaurant to all.
