I had the kobedeh beef. It was ok. If you like Persian food then this resturant works. Why is trip advisor complaing about my reviews?

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Zeitoon on Saturday night. The restaurant was almost full, all buzzing with people enjoying themselves--I'm guessing they were mostly Iranians. My wife chose a salmon kebob that was brilliantly marinated and then grilled. I chose a walnut-pomegranate chicken. For my palate it was an unusual and wonderful taste treat. We had... More

My husband & I went here on a Monday evening around 7:30pm. It was busy but we were quickly seated. There are 3 or 4 tables outside but they were all occupied as it was a lovely warm evening. We were provided our menus along with a lunch menu (not sure why as items cost more at dinner). The waitress... More

We ate here twice whilst staying close by, the first time (firework night) everything was perfect, service food and wine really good. As it was firework night we did book as the area was very busy, think they must have had their best staff on as they were packed the following night things didn't go quite so well. Service was... Seriously you haven't had Persian food in the Northwest until you've been here! Ask for "tadik" with both stews on the side! The chicken & beef kabob are amazing! You can opt of getting the rice and ask for shirazi salad instead, mmmm!!!!!!!! they're affordable and awesome!

We stopped by during our bicycle ride because we were very hungry. The Zeitoon offered a large choice of Persian meals and convinced us with large and tasty portions and an attentive service.

I was a hungry solo diner. I wanted something grilled, and I like Persian cuisine. But for a platter of maybe 2 cups of basmati rice (enough for three!) with a grilled steak kabab, I could probably have done just as well, food and value wise, as one of those "pick your choice from the photos" faster food places nearby.... The kebab tasted weird. If u leave the onion for a couple weeks outside fridge kind of weird. The vegetable stew was like an amateur version of the traditional Iranian plate. Even the rice didn't taste good. Service was good which pulls up the rating from horrible to a poor.

Had a delivery from the Pendrell Street restaurant. Prompt, efficient delivery. Portions - large. Food - hommus and cucumber & mint starters ($5.95 and $4.95) were good and each would be enough for two. Shishlik rack of lamb ($16.95) and Torsh ($14.95) - tenderloin soaked in walnut, pomegranate, olive oil & herbs - were excellent. Had both with half &... More
