This coffee is wonderful - food too.

I had a coffee meeting with someone, who suggested Matchsticks, at Kingsway and Fraser. You know, I was going to get a cappuccino, chat for an hour. WOW. The espresso was SO good... just like the beans I had in Kenya somewhere.. oh man. I had only a bite of a muffin (I had longed for the... read more

We always like to seek out local coffee shops while traveling, and stumbled upon some good reviews for Matchstick. We were hungry for lunch, and one article stated Matchstick was a great lunch spot. It was far from where we were staying, but took a drive to try it out. When we arrived, I was underwhelmed by the food offerings.... More

I don't know much about coffee and I don't usually drink coffee. One thing I do know is this place has got the best latte in Vancouver. I have tried quite a few independent coffee places in town, whose names I won't mention here, and nothing compares to it. Really!! And I was told by a person that he can... More

Like most people I hunt out good coffee stops, both big and small. I loved this place, it has such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The coffee is beautiful, a very high standard every time. We also tried one of the cookies, which was fresh, soft & delicious! I hope to be going back to visit today before I leave... More

very hip place, but noise level made it almost impossible to carry on a conversation. Better off next door at the Lion's Den.

Location opened early 2014 on East Georgia. Turned a previous boring space into a fine coffee shop. Great made to order coffees, nice selection of pastries, competent baristas. Lots of seating, a fine addition to the ever growing compliment of food and beverage choices in the neighborhood.

We went for a pre brunch coffee burst of energy at the new locale on East Georgia in Chinatown. Nice selection of pour over coffees from different parts of the world. The collection of baked goods - savory, sweet and bread was very nice. We will be back for that!! Nice atmosphere of huddle spots, work places, and nooks and... More

Went for a Mother's Day coffee today...Absolutely loved the coffee and the atmosphere! The coffee was perfect...just the right strength and we enjoyed ourselves just relaxing in their comfortable chairs. Can hardly wait to go back

My husband and I stopped in at the recommendation of a friend who works at Museo (in Saskatoon,SK). It didn't disappoint! We both had a latte and I had a croissant and my husband had a scone. It was all very good and the coffee shop had a nice atmosphere. The street that it is on was a bit tricky... More
