Description: Chef Whittaker’s vision features dishes that are unpretentious and innovatively prepared using products sourced from local and organic farmers, fishers and producers whenever possible. These combine for a menu featuring snacks such as “crackling & popcorn”; a variety of creative “boards” and “irons” to share; tasty “plates” to nosh on together or enjoy solo as a main; and desserts for a sweet (and a bit savoury) finish.

We visited Forage for dinner before X'mas and enjoyed the meals thoroughly. We ordered the kale and apple chips, kale and honey blue cheese salad, Bison short ribs, smoked salmon, and the apple pie. The kale dishes were delicious, best that we've ever had!!! Smoked salmon was better than the Bison in my opinion but the dishes were all good!... More

This place offers a real dining 'experience' as opposed to a nice meal out. Almost like tapas style but with modern canadian cuisine. We went as a party of seven and it was one of the most social meals I have ever had, all the food goes down family style in smaller portion dishes (an appetizer and 1.5 entrees per... More

This is my favourite restaurant in Vancouver. The room is beautiful and bright. All the food is delicious, fresh, and the portion sizes are perfect. It's great for sharing family style. I highly recommend the mushrooms and goat cheese on caraway bread.

I dined on a week night at Forage. The service was excellent! The food was good and creative. We ordered a variety of dishes and ate tapas style, which allowed us to try a good variety of menu items. My favorites were the salmon and the lemon puff dessert. The local BC wines were also delicious! The popcorn and crackling... More

This restaurant boasts local cuisine all from the surrounding areas. We were impressed by the attention to detail they put into every dish. The oysters came in a beautiful bed of stones. The foraged mushrooms were delicious. We were informed of their "farm to table" design when we arrived. I imagine though that the farm that they acquired our food... More

The concept of the this restaurant was very interesting! We enjoyed breakfast there and a dinner too! The food was delicious! Portions were a good size and quite a few of the items on the dinner menu were so different! Looking through the menu, I felt like I wanted to try everything on it! I would definitely recommend Forage! The... More

We had halibut and it was good. We had the popcorn appetizer it was mediocre. The drinks were good. We brought the 3 kids and so I was pretty distracted but the hubby seemed to enjoy it.
