Description: Adam Pegg and Lucais Syme of Vancouver’s award-winning La Quercia...
Adam Pegg and Lucais Syme of Vancouver’s award-winning La Quercia restaurant deliver artfully crafted, Northern Italian cuisine at Yaletown’s La Pentola Della Quercia inside OPUS Hotel Vancouver. The Chef-duo’s intense passion for turning the best local ingredients into simple, deliciously executed Northern Italian fare can be shared in a family style or a la carte manner daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night. Artfully crafted handmade pastas and custom “nose to tail” meat and fish are the focus at La Pentola, each carefully prepared in its natural state. The chefs’ philosophy of importing Italian necessities such as olive oil and prosciutto contribute a rich simplicity to each dish.

Good Italian

Small bar, but the restaurant is nice. The food was good, but my Italian partner was not as convinced with the authenticity! Would come back to try the new bar next door.

good food and a fair price for breakfast. And much quieter than the typical hotel breakfast cafe. The sausages are excellent! And the bathroom is funky (don't be thrown off by the live video feed of the bar - you can see them but they can't see you)

My wife and I enjoyed the 7 course dinner on Valentines Day evening. The service was great from the coat check to the wait staff. Everyone was attentive and informative should we have any questions. Our drinks were always full, and our dirty dishes whisked away immediately. It was a full house, so that was very impressive. We also returned... More

Very slow service, our drinks took ages to arrive we thought the waitress had forgotten us. Food was ok although the salad dressing was great.

We really enjoyed our Dine Out Vancouver experience. We were looking for a hotel/dinner option and had heard great things about Opus' restaurant, so chose this combo amongst all the options. I'm not sure if it was about La Pentola or previous incarnations that had the great reputation, but we were not disappointed. Both the linguini vongole and spaghetti amatriciana... More

If you have a large loud group of people this is the place to go. If you are looking for a quiet romantic place then skip this one. The food was good desert was fantastic the service was sketchy.

I've been to La Pentola more than a dozen times and it never fails to knock it out of the park. The food is clearly made with love and the ambiance and service are wonderful. Highly recommend this place!
