We have been going to this very small, unobtrusive lttle place for quite a while. The menu is on a chalk board with a fair selection of different nt fish that can be prepared to order and come with a variety of sauces. Had blackened snapper which was very good and my daughter a salmon burger. Not overdone and flavorful.... More

The restaurant and staff were very inviting, parking was easy and on entering this small restaurant is was apparent on how many regulars there were, it has a close family feel from the time we entered with a warm welcomed by our server to a friendly wave from the Chef in the kitchen, Menu is on the wall and easy... I've been a regular patron of the Fish Cafe for years. The high quality of fish allows the chef to serve simply prepared yet totally delicious dishes. Good value for great food.

We eat here regularly and have never been disappointed. Fish is super fresh and always deliciously prepared. Simple but good. Lovely fresh house salad as well. Chef is fantastic and makes the meal enjoyable. The place has been there a long time and the quality has never changed.

little hole in the wall but best seafood ever! Grilled trout for me and blackened halibut for hubby. Both very well done. Great server too! Found on trip advisor!

I just spent a week in Vancouver on vacation. I read an article in the New York Times which said the Fish Cafe had the best seafood. We were about a 20 minute cab ride from this small restaurant. It was so worth the effort to find the restaurant. The fish was amazing, the service was friendly and accommodating and... More

What a find this place is! The Fish Cafe is a small seafood restaurant in the Kerrisdale neighborhood of Vancouver, and well worth the search. I happen to really like fish and chips - specifically - Halibut and chips. Most places usually serve cod or "whitefish" (whatever that is), but Halibut, in my opinion, is the best! And the Fish... We were told to go here by a local and we were glad we listened. The fish was amazing, great local beer and prices very fair for such fresh fish. The chef Marcus is wonderful and we were lucky to get a chance to chat with him. I would highly recommend Fish Cafe to anyone that visits Vancouver.

My husband and I are frequent diners here - they have good beer on tap for him and the fish is always fresh and grilled/cooked to perfection - crispy chips if that's your choice - healthy salad portions and the service is also very good and quick, if you happen to be in a rush.
