Excellent Traditional Dim Sum

A genuine dim sum experience from the excellent food to the clamouring atmosphere. We often come here with our extended family, seating up to 12 people (with kids) around a big round table. Can't speak Chinese? No problem, ordering is made easy with a (English/Chinese) menu checklist.

There are literally hundreds of Chinese restaurants in the greater Vancouver area. This is not one of them. While we did not get indifferent service as others have experienced, the food quality was well below the level expected of a lower mainland Chinese restaurant. We had a reasonably expensive banquet menu for New Year's dinner and virtually all of the... More

Why is it so hard to find great xiao long bao? We had Dimsum here on a Saturday... Got seated right away at 10, but it was a challenge to get service unless you're good at continuous arm waving without looking crazy. Our hot water was empty for a while and we tried the well-known signal of top half-off, but... More

I attended the Mah Society Banquet, which was held at Fraser Court Seafood Restaurant in Vancouver, on the evening of May 15, 2015. There were about 100 guests from all over Canada. You'd think it would've been hard to get both great service and be served great food on a very busy evening (at a big social event), but that's... More

Not only are the owners of this restaurant rude, unhelpful and dishonest, but they serve SHARK FIN SOUP which is an absolute disgrace. Had I known this, I would have NEVER been a customer here and you shouldn't either. Disgusting.

Our first time for Dim Sum. We were part of a wedding group, about 60 people, and did not know what to expect. The food was amazing, for the most part. We enjoyed almost everything except for the pork ribs which were way to fatty to eat. Bone and fat is all there was. All of the other dishes were... More

We had reservations at 10:30 a.m. for 9 people. For dim sum ordering, you are provided with a one sheet menu and a pencil. You mark down the number of dishes on the menu that you want and then you hand it to a server for preparation. The menu is in both English and Chinese. Service was fast and efficient.... More

I came here on Christmas day with a reservation for 6 and our order was prepared promptly and we were done in an hour. The menu you check off what you wanted was in English and Chinese. Huge, busy restaurant on the second floor. The food was really good. Besides the parking lot nearby there is additional parking if you... More

For a Richmond-style size chinese restaurant in this area, it meets the grade for those who want to avoid the bridge traffic. Sure it's tough to compare the food quality but it's got a few solid dishes, which the Beijing pork chops is one of my favs, and their fish hot pot i hear is popular too. Same for their... More

In visiting Vancouver, I was invited to a monthly lunch with six men, all about 70 years old, who have lived in the Vancouver area their entire life. I'm not a fan of chinese food, but they all raved about the quality, quantity and price of the food. It must be good as, as I indicated, they meet here once... More
