The patio overlooking False Creek and the stadiums is one of the biggest reasons to head here. Lots of beer and wine on tap (served in silly mugs)...food is really incredibly average. Avoid the Peanut Butter and Jelly Hamburger...absolutely revolting according to 4 people who have tried! Beer is good, the view is good, the food can be missed.

Floor to ceiling glass windows maximize the visual experience. You can choose to sit inside or (weather permitting) outside on patio. You can people watch all day as the walk and bike paths go right by here. Some good selection of beers and local micros. A little pricy.

I made the mistake of ordering the veggie burger here in spite of warning from our waitress. Veggie burgers are either hit and miss and this was such a miss. I think it was a soy based one (as opposed to beans, gains, veggies or rice) with artificial flavouring, which are the not as good ones out there. Anyways I... More

I have visited both Tap & Barrel locations and both are excellent. I love the atmosphere at the Olympic Village Tap. The staff is super knowledgeable about their menu and beer selection. The service has always been amazing and the food and beer is simple wonderful. I always get the deep fried pickles as they are AMAZING, as well as... More

My husband and I recently enjoyed a meal at the Tap & Barrel. It was his 2nd time there and my 1st. I had the Thai shrimp pizza which was amazing. It was so fresh, tangy and spicy. The crust was cooked to perfection. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. My husband, under the recommendation of our... More

I wish I could give 31/2 stars as the service, outside of Sky's attention, was a serious letdown. I am going to chalk it up to bad communication as there were a dozen tables or so and definitely enough floor staff to cover them, yet we waited for over ten minutes without a nod until our Hostess came by and... I've been before but had occasion to return recently. This time I had their Burger with crispy onions and bacon, which was delicious! I ordered Yam Fries with it and I was perfectly satisfied. Enjoyed a Winter Ale with it. My friend and business associate had grilled cheese fingers with rustic tomato soup. The service was fantastic!

Four of us went for brunch and had a wonderful time. The food was good especially My Quebec Poutine that everyone sampled. Liam was an excellent host, who helped with the selection of beers on tap. We plan to come back soon, and look forward to sitting out on the patio this summer. Thank you for the brunch.

I've been to Tap & Barrel a number of times and will certainly be going back again soon. They have a great selection of local craft beer and everything I've ever tasted on the menu has been quite good. I usually go for the burgers which are very creative. I recommend trying the PB&J burger, or the FnK burger if... More
