We made a point of seeking out this food truck on our visit to Vancouver having read the reviews and salivating over the menu online and we were not disappointed. These cheese sandwiches are fantastic! It's hard to explain what exactly makes them so good, I'm not quite sure whether it's how well the thick bread was toasted; or how... More

Drove way to far into Vancouver for some grilled cheese lovin. Was not disappointed. Had the Friday special, the 'baby daddy', brisket, onions and provolone. Delicious.

Being as we are not from North America, we could never understand the big deal about "grilled cheese". As far as we were concerned, it sounded like just a toasted cheese sandwich. Shopping on Robson Street on our recent holiday to Canada, we stumbled across this Food Truck, and as it was right there and convenient, decided to try out... More

The Friday special (brisket, grilled onions, Havarti cheese) all melted together was heaven on grilled bread. The portions are big enough to share. The line was long so allow wait time, but it's worth it.

Rainy day in Vancouver today but I knew a trip to the food trucks would brighten the day. I'd heard a lot about Mom's Grilled Cheese so I gave it a go. I'm not a huge cheese fan so I didn't know which one to choose -- so the girls kept handing me bits to try. I couldn't decide so... More

at the corner of Howe Street & West Georgia next to the plaza and steps leading to the Vancouver Art Gallery and a short block from the Courthouse, you can catch both arty types and lawyers in black wingtips lining up for buttery, cheesy, grilled cheese sandwiches and mega-pickles from Mama's truck. On Wednesdays, they have a special on Hot... More

Location: crossroad of Howe st. and Robson st.(on the day I went.) Food ordered: Mom's classic (white bread + swiss cheese +tomato ) Cost: $8.75 Taste: The bread is crisp but the cheese as well as the sauce is tasteless. Service: The sellers are friendly and enthusiastic. Wait time: About 8 minutes. A bit long but it's because many people... More

I went to Mom's Grilled Cheese Truck today — it was at Howe & Robson — and had -the best- grilled cheese ever. I got cheddar on white bread with bacon, and it was served in this neat little cone with chips at the bottom — both fancy yet practical. And boy was the taste amazing, the cheese tasted real,...
