For an Aussie travelling in Canada or the US. The thing I missed most was decent coffee. Hooray for Branden, the Aussie manager of the Bel Cafe. Perhaps I just promoted him, but his great advice on coffee and their fine food at reasonable prices was a lifesaver to anyone who likes a decent coffee. Branden is an Aussie with... More

A great little spot right downtown that felt like home during a week in Vancouver, Bel Cafe offers fantastic 49th Parallel coffee, lovely breakfasts (the light frittata and spicy kale sandwiches are delicious), authentic croissants and other French bakery treats, and excellent sandwiches with inventive fillings. The location on the ground floor of the Hotel Georgia is central, the decor... More

A lovely bistro near the Vancouver Art Gallery. We did not look at any review before but it turned out to be a gem. Service was friendly and professional. I was impressed with their roasted tomato soup and salmon Niçoise salad. I tried their macaron as well and they were delicious. Prices were very reasonable given the quality of their... More

convenient to down town. Across from the art museum on Georgia St... Nice pastries and good coffee, but some of the egg dishes or pre made and warmed up to serve.

Try their tuna salad or chicken sandwich! The food quality is excellent, great coffee, and very reasonable prices!

I was staying at a nearby hotel and went to Bel Café to pick up my breakfast in the mornings. The selection was really good and the quality amazing! I had the vegetable frittata and blueberry scone with a latte. Paid around $13. I definitely recommend it!

A crisp and clean coffee shop we visited while staying in the Rosewood Georgia Hotel. Good selection of eats and excellent coffee.

It's located in Hotel Georgia and very convenient to grab a quick breakfast before heading out to explore the city. We were surprised to see how small the sandwiches were, but I think it's normal in Canada. Everything is super sized in the US.

Lovely little posh spot for a coffee and some interesting people watching. I was very pleased with the service and the amazingly kind and talkative (when wanted) waitstaff. I spent a while in there soaking up the buzz and enjoyed my coffee very much.
