Nice place.....

Had a good meal here the other night. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Salad was nicely done. I had the special and it was good. Service was very good. Didn't try dessert. It's a wine bar, and it was very good to see they offered at least one cider(I'm a cider drinker). It would be good if they... read more

I eat here fairly often -as they have excellent pizza, friendly service and reasonably priced decent wines. This past Wednesday, my friend and I decided to order some different things than usual: We were blown away with the flavours and textures -unquestionably the best meal I've ever had there. The Owner works very hard on premises -and uses many family... More

Surprisingly quiet on a Friday afternoon. No need to get there early. Plenty of tables and good food.

Went for a business lunch with some colleagues in B.C. The restaurant is nicely set up and has a cozy atmosphere. The service was fairly fast and the selections on the menu had a selection of pastas and pizzas. The food was good and we were served fairly quickly.

I've enjoyed an informal dinner several times at Novo, often before attending a movie next door. I'm always struck by the consistency of several things ... tasty food, pleasant staff, fast & efficient service, and reasonable prices. More often than not, I've chosen their thin crust pizza ... many delicious and creative toppings available. I've also enjoyed their salads and... More

I love Tuscany thin crust pizza and make a point of ordering Margherita pizza so I can make a fair comparison. I have eaten and reviewed this restaurant before. It has always been good but I must say this time the pizza was top of the line. Look out Primastrada and Buffala- this is the best! The wine list for... More

I had dinner at Novo a few nights ago. Overall the food was very good. We started with the burrata, which was a well balanced light appetizer. For the main I had the new lobster risotto. It was very flavourful, but a little salty for my taste, and the rice was el dente (I would have the rice a bit... More

I've been to Novo on three occasions for lunch and have been very pleased with the quality of the food and the service. Our meals came quickly and everyone in the group was pleased with what they had. My choices have been salads each time and they are very fresh and flavourful with light and tasty dressings that don't overpower... More

Lucked into this spot when looking for a bit to eat before a movie. It sits right beside the 5th Ave Cinema in Vancouver. We tried the buffalo cheese and tomatoes for an appetizer great texture and taste. My wife was a little disappointed with the Gnocchi and my Calzone could have used a little more stuffing. The service was... More

Went here the other night as it was highly recommended by friends. The restaurant was very busy on Saturday night so we were glad we had called ahead for reservations. Their vegetarian lasagna was on special. I have never had such delicate, airy noodles - they were melt in your mouth light!
