Just looking at the reviews makes me want to return. We really didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised to find that EVERYONE participated and it wasn't just a couple thing. I got to watch my husband make crab cakes, soft shell crab, aioli and he did it with flair while I worked in the next station doing... More

Went to a recent Friday night class and it was great. Lasted a good 4 hours and the quality and amount of food that we cooked and ate was awesome. I don't think anyone there could finish everything because there was so much. Cool casual atmosphere, not too much chance screwing up your food as they have it easily laid... More

Group of friends booked a cooking class. It was a blast, chef does a demo, they you do it your self. Lots of fun, the you eat what you cook.

Reviewing the Dirty Apron is a bit tricky for it is many things - a store with some very special products, a deli with great sandwiches, and a brilliantly designed and conceived cooking school. We experienced it all and feel comfortable recommending it all. Of special note is the cooking school. The facilities are outstanding with each student having their... More

Had a great lamb sandwich here on brioche bread. Everything looked pretty good! Service was good. I came with a stroller and it was very difficult to get up and down the steps to get into the deli.

Just completed the Thai class with my oldest son and I came home and absolutely raved about it to my dear hubby. Everything from the tea and bowl of soup I had in the deli when I arrived an hour early to the coconut sorbet offered as a sweet little dessert was perfect. Every person I saw working there had... We did the Momma Mia class and it was terrific . It really was a jammed packed four hours with Chef David . We made ravioli from scratch and stuffed it with arugula goat cheese filling , and a walnut and sage butter sauce . Then grilled lamb sirloin and herb ricotta gnocchi with chanterelle cream sauce . Finally we... More

For Christmas my wonderful hubby gave myself and one of my dearest friends the Mamma Mia cooking class. We had the best time. It starts right from arrival when they take your coat, hand you a glass of procesco and lead you to the common dining area where your co-cooks are relaxing and getting to know each other over appetizers.... A friend and did two classes back to back this year and loved the experience! I only wish I lived in Vancouver so I could go all the time. We decided to take the classes vs. going out for dinner and spending about the same amount. I would suggest to anyone living or travelling to Vancouver to head down to... More

As a cooking class, which I took with a friend a year or so ago, I really enjoyed The Dirty Apron. I'd give it four or maybe even five out of five. It was a fun time and would be a great evening out for a romantic couple, family duo, or couple of friends. Comprehensive recipes with detailed demonstrations before... More
