Thhe perfect Birthday present for someone who enjoys cooking

My sister and wife purchased a session cooking French cuisine. We prepared Nicoise salad with pan-seared tuna, Duck-breast with potato pancakes and morel sauce, and an apple torte. You eat each course after you have prepared it with wine, and finish with coffee. I like cooking and so this was a... read more

On my frequent business trips to Vancouver, I loved going to this place for lunch. I probably tried every item on their menu. Fresh and delicious.

I received a 4-hour hands on cooking class as a gift. The gift of time spent with a friend is the best gift! Picking a class was tough - I narrowed it down to my top five, and then just allowed our schedules to make the final decision - a Wednesday evening seafood class. I didn't know what to expect... Recently my wife and I attended the Dirty Apron Cooking School and were impressed with the professional approach to teaching us how to cook like a pro. Our Chef professor, Carol Chow created a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where we could explore the world of great cuisine. The staff and facilities were excellent. We enjoyed our experience and in... More

I went to the Dirty Apron for lunch with a group of friends, and we were all very impressed. This is a cooking school with a gourmet deli-style counter where you order your meal from. The options are impressive, including grilled baguettes and sandwiches, pastries, soups, salads, etc. Everything looks so good it's hard to make up your mind. All... More

My lovely partner and I attended the French cuisine cooking course on Sunday October 26th as part of our anniversary celebration. We went there with absolutely no expectations and happened to be untouchably professional and enjoyable event that deserves 5 stars. Thank you for those 4 delicious fun hours.

Awesome facility with lots of great chefs to teach. You get your own mini kitchen and cook a set menu with hands on instruction, eating along the way. Great way to learn.

I took the French cooking course last evening and just have to comment on what a terrific experience it was! We prepared two "main" courses (beef tenderloin and sea bass) and finished with a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate soufflé. The cooking tips that the chef provided were applicable to so much more than the recipes we were cooking and I really appreciated... More

I recently spent a glorious, educational evening attending a cooking lesson/dinner/party at this downtown restaurant/cooking school. It was a hoot! The chef was personable, knowledgeable and skilled. The staff were incredibly efficient and helpful. The ingredients were top notch, fresh and innovative. The wine was good quality and plentiful. After a glass of champagne and appetizers, we "went to work"... More
