Four of us went and ordered a combo dinner for two, plus some appies, veggies, extra meat. We ate like kings. Miso soup was very good, which I always consider a good sign. The seared tuna sashimi was like butter. The spicy tuna volcano was original and delicious. Various cuts of thin sliced beef lightly marinated were all tender and mouth... More

AWFUL!!! Told my lovely father on his birthday that we had 30 minutes to finish our meal at 8pm!!!! We were quietly eating our dinner, we had a reservation and they made us (paying customers) leave because they had other people coming in! There were empty tables beside us and in the restaurant. They didn't even give is the option... More

My oldest daughter recommended this place, having been there with her university colleagues. It wasn't the most highly rated places - not very well rated in Trip Advisor - but we went along with it. It was our New Years Day dinner and we wanted something special. GK is one of those chain restaurants, with establishments all over the USA... More

Went here for a business lunch - and were surprised by the lack of sushi at this Japanese restaurant. Want to cook your own protein?... then you've found the right place. My group didn't want to fire up the grill in the center of the table so we opted for the ala carte choices. The tuna tatake was ok -... More

We enjoyed a nice lunch here, staff was engaging and took time to explain the menu and dining options. The bbq is in the center of your table and if you choose to use it you will have a unique exprience and lots of tasty options. Really fun and we couldnt stop ordering food, so delicious. Reccomend this for some... More

Walked by and stopped in for lunch while visiting Vancouver. We were seated promptly and server came by and explained to us the "cook your own meal" process. We opted for the special - 8 different kinds of meat, poultry and seafood that we cooked on an in-table bbq. Meal also included, salad, soup and a wonderful crispy rice dish.... More

We were not finished eating and they kicked us out after 2 hours. Really made our party feel awful. We have been to 4 other locations and have never been pushed out.

I went to this place twice, it had a great atmosphere and excellent service. It was a tad over priced but we got used to that in Vancouver. I had garlic prawns, Kobe beef, fillet mignon and the beef fried noodles. On the first night the meat was perfect, on second visit it was over salted, however the $10 pitcher... More

What amazed me was the speed and smiles all the people that were working that night had on their faces, all the time. The ambiance is alright, not much of decoration but the lighting was perfect, not too bright nor too dark. As soon as we got our seats, the server came and gave us a nice brief introduction on...
