Had lunch here today, during shopping. The place was busy, but not full. Took about 10 minutes before we could place our order, then, because we were now watching the clock so our parking meter would not run out, we noted that it took an additional 30 minutes before our food arrived. Looking around, it appeared everyone on site was... More

Had arranged to meet at Luke's before reading a lot of poor reviews so didn't expect much. Service was very friendly and prompt. Two of the three dishes were excellent and the third was good and as advertised. Hard to beat an outdoor table on a sunny evening in Vancouver. Server was cute and top notch.

This is a superb neighbourhood lunch or dinner place on the south side of Vancouver. Good menu, excellent service but quite noisy. Also has an outdoor patio. Worth a visit.

The location of this restaurant is wonderful, but the wine list is limited and the food is nothing to write home about. I ordered the mussels which were terribly underdone (I should have sent them back), my partner ordered the burger. Could have made a better burger at home, but the skinny fries and dips were delicious, I have to... More

Decided on trying out Luke's for dinner based on hearing that they have the best chicken wings in the city, they went as far to say better than Phnom Penh (not the case). We did do an order of each the hot and salt & pepper wings and they were decent but nothing special. The order comes with 8 'wings'... More

We had lunch here again today, probably the fifth time we have been here. As always the service was warm and welcoming. We have had various brunch things on the menu. (We usually come on Sundays). Today my husband had the fish tacos and I had the tuna salad. We have had the Bennies and BELT etc in the past.... More

Contrary to other reviews here, I think the food is quite good for a neighborhood joint. Their weekend Veggie Hash and Soudough BELT are very tasty. Hot Wings are delicious. Service is great most of the time except for one server I've had who seems out to lunch.

Luke's was...decent. It wasn't as horrible as Red Door, which was there before. I ordered a hot dog, which had deep fried pickles. I had the Maple Thyme flavor. You could choose from 3 different dogs. It was pretty good, but it had better been for $11! My bf had a bacon cheeseburger and wasn't disappointed nor impressed. It was... More

I dropped in on this restaurant after seeing the name in the Stanley Theatre program and checking out their website. It was quite a busy weekday lunch time and I waited at the door until one of the servers was free to welcome me and seat me. While I waited, I noticed the positive and upbeat vibe in the room.... For a new restaurant, this place has done a good job of recreating the ambience of a real neighbourhood bar and grill. If it seems a bit ersatz, it's unlikely anyone will care. What they might care about, though, is that while the food is okay, it's not much more than that. The three of us were all pretty happy... More
