What's a good lunch spot? Let's spot for the place with a lineup, you know it's good when people wait while they're starving. They only serve two sandwiches? Limited choice means the food goes out fast and fresh. It also plays hip hop music on clubbing volume and has a punching bag installation in... read more

Came to this place on a Saturday morning, so they were quite busy, but we got lucky. I loved our seating, up at the front window with nice people-watching opportunities, and the service was friendly and fairly prompt, though the wait time for the food ran a bit long. The food itself was a bit of a let-down after reading... More

The food is always really good, and the service is excellent. I have stop here a few times with friends for lunch. Their Turkey, brie, arugula and cranberry sandwich is delicious!

I read that this was one of the best places in the whole of Vancouver for good old Mac & Cheese. It was just around the corner from my hotel, so I thought I'd give it a try - on my last day, I wish I'd gone earlier and had the chance for a return visit. The Mac & Cheese... More

We ate here twice on a recent four-day weekend in Vancouver, once for Sunday brunch and once for dinner. Both times were delicious. The brunch was particularly good. Service was good, and our waitress for brunch was the best -- attentive and engaging. It's not high-end foodie food, but it's creative and yummy.

My wife and I visited after hearing about it on TA and we were not disappointed. The owners sister waited on us and could not have been more helpful. I selected the meatloaf sandwich which was the best I have ever had. The quiche my wife had was outstanding. If we were in town another day we would have come... More

Very real banana cream pie, not the artificially flavored stuff. Hands down best Almond Pecan pie ever! Coffee was topped up and never hit bottom! All the staff were friendly and diligent about tending any needs.

We are holidaying with family and friends in Vancouver and we're looking for a great cafe to have breakfast. We have some people in our party who are gluten intolerant, so this is an important consideration. We were recommended Acme cafe and we were not disappointed. The food was great with a great selection of gluten free options (they bake... More
