Good food, lively atmosphere, and central

I was jet-lagged so we only had appetizers and wine, but the salmon sampler/food was good, the prices reasonable, and the service pleasant. A great way to start a visit to Vancouver!

We had a very disappointing experience in this restaurant in July, 2015. When my wife and I met two friends there, we asked if we could sit upstairs. The host haughtily asked if we were sure that we wanted dinner upstairs. That should have been our first clue, but the question seemed innocuous, so we said yes and we were... More

Another good eatery in Vancouver! Very unique selection of dishes. I ordered the bone marrow bread and was stupidly suprised at how well the flavors meshed together. The drinks were also good! This place is super busy, super popular yet the wait isn't too long and they will literally squeeze you into a seat/table. Service was excellent. The server recommended... More

Walked to the restaurant from our hotel while staying in Vancouver the night before our Alaskan cruise. Located in a vibrant safe area with numerous restaurants bars & pubs. Friendly atmosphere, excellent service and nice drink selection. Had nice bottle of Canadian Pinot. Salmon was excellent. Very nice presentation and yummy desserts. Family's, business associates, friends and couples were dining... More

We arrived just as happy hour was ending, so got a table on the bar side which was not comfortable for dining. My nephew said this was the place to go in Vancouver but food was about a C+. Best thing they did for us was to combine the 2 small plates and one entrée on one large platter so... More

Fantastic meal with my husband. He had a steak which was cooked to perfection. I had the signature pork rack and pulled pork pouting. Amazing.

Went for just snacks and drinks in happy hour, menu looks good, kept simple and comfort food style. Like the area and atmosphere.

Fashionable styled restaurant in Yaletown with up-side potential in the service area. Waiters came across a bit arrogant and snobby. Food is descent with the short-rib being an excellent choice, although the portion was a bit small for the price tag.

NOT GOOD!!! Not even a little bit. Yes, this restaurant has received acclaim and lands on all the top lists. I’m honestly not sure why. We were visiting Vancouver and out of all the wonderful restaurant options, chose The Flying Pig. How can all these people be wrong? Definitely thought it would be a slam-dunk as far as an excellent... More
