Old classics done a little differently, but differently in a great way. Like Mac & Cheese with chicken & pork. Mounds of shoestring fries, but lightly seasoned. Excellent service too.

We had originally planned to try another bistro, but it was closed. Fortunately, we were referred to the Flying Pig which was close by. The fact that so many people were crowded around the menu outside and the restaurant was filled with patrons was a good sign to me. I was happy that the place was large enough to not... More

Great food, wonderful stand, fun, fun t-shirts. Gas Town is fabulous, with fun shops, galleries, and memorable restaurants like this one. A perfect end to a day of touring.

On a cold rainy Vancouver day, this is the best place to visit to keep warm and eat yummy hearty tasty food. Try the 3 pea soup and the braised short ribs. The Best!

After a beautiful day of touring Stanley Park, we dropped in for beer and a bite. Josh, our waiter, was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. He recommended the Wild Seafood Pappardelle which has a "hug in every bite", (his words not mine)...and it was delicious. Had a couple of beers... and we were sufficiently unwound! Thanks crew, great job.

Great little find in gas town! The atmosphere is great and defnetly loved the decor. The service was wonderful. They offer happy hour specials from 4-6, which I wish we got to try because they had lots of great menu options. We went there for a late lunch and it was amazing! I recommend the mojito there, the best I... More

I enjoyed the steelhead trout at the Flying Pig, which was pink and fresh and delicious. It took a while to get my waiter's attention initially, but once I was able to flag him down, he became very attentive.

You could do worse, but you could also do better in this fabulous foodie city. While I give the signature pork rack with pulled pork poutine two hooves way up, the rest of our meal was merely good. For example, the lobster and shrimp risotto had excellent flavors, but was not nerely as firm as risotto should be; I wanted... More

There has been a lot of hype about this Yaletown restaurant and with the name The Flying Pig how could you go wrong....what meat eating foodie doesn't enjoy pork? I was there for lunch and found the decor and overall ambiance of the restaurant very nice, it is a hip and happening place - it was completely full during the... More

The Flying Pig (Yaletown) quickly became a favourite location to go with friends - locals and visitors, it has a fabulous atmosphere, great decor, fun staff, and good food and drinks, no matter the time of day! Discovered one evening after work shortly after moving back to Vancouver and into the Yaletown area, it became one of the places I... More
