Great food and atmosphere, but can be difficult to find a seat.

I discovered this cafe by chance, and I was pleasantly surprised. Their sandwiches are delicious, and they pull one of the best espressos I've had in awhile. The service is not fast, but I would not go there unless I had the time to sit and enjoy the ambiance. I would also not come during... read more

I added Finch's to my wishlist a long time ago and finally had the opportunity to come by for lunch a few days ago. I'm going to admit that it's altogether possible that my love for baguette and cheese along with the many positive reviews I've read resulted in an unrealistically high expectation because... I pretty disappointed by the food.... More

The overall location of the cafe is not very favorable. But the ambiance inside is rustic and unique! Nice food/drinks but very slow service and very expensive

I stumbled upon this gem of a cafe just as they were closing up today. having various food allergies, I was thrilled to find an almond milk latte and a salad that I could eat here... for just $15. I couldn't stay long because they wee closing but thoroughly enjoyed there time I was there and would highly recommend it... More

Finch's is an eclectic little spot convenient to both MacLeod's Books and the Victorian Hotel. It's also not far from the steam clock. On this visit, we were warming up and fortifying ourselves before the bookstore. I had a nice cup of black tea; my companion had a double short latte. Although it wasn't listed on the menu, I asked... More

As the title says, you can't beat their sandwiches on fresh baguettes. Service is typical hipster-surly for the most part, but it adds to the charm. Try the brief and grape (add walnuts).

Just by chance I came across this place. This is an authentic hideout with good coffee. A great place to get away for a few hours with a good book from the 2nd hand book store across the street. Enjoy.

A beautiful little cafe, very popular, with a fantastic atmosphere. The brie, pear and walnut baguette was amazing! Followed by a coffee and chocolate cookie. It had a very arty, individual feel to it, with the baguettes served on paper tied with string, very original and rustic! Would highly recommend this place for quality food, making a lunchtime snack that... More

I want to live in Vancouver so I can go to Finch's for their pear, brie and prosciutto baguette. I got it to go for my drive back to Seattle and devoured it somewhere along the road. Maybe it was just hunger, maybe it was just that good. Also, the to-go wrapping was simple but adorable. Coffee was also very... More
