Second time here and not dissapointed.

If you want fresh, great tasting and reasonably priced sushi, this is the place to go. Very good service and not long wait for food courses.

Nice little "hole in the wall" restaurant on Hornby street. I stopped in for a quick lunch and they greeted me with a cup of green tea which was great. I also had vegetable rolls and Tripple Attached Rice bowl which had salmon, tuna and a 3rd sashimi. Anyway, the good was fresh, healthy and tasty.

I have a mixed feeling about this place. It is nice and staff were friendly, and the food is very health conscious. They use brown rice instead of traditional japanese white rice for all the food inside. Everything we ordered were not traditional but modified using healthier options, well it is great if you decide to compromise taste with healthy... More

This is a great little restaurant. My boyfriend and I had dinner here before catching a movie, and loved it so much we went back the same week. I am a vegetarian and was overwhelmed by the amount of options. Service is quick and super friendly. Definitely recommended!

We came back to "Shizen Ya" (organic sushi restaurant) in Vancouver again for tonight's dinner. David & I really like this restaurant last night and we decided to came back to another branch at Homby street again to have a dinner together. This branch of Shizen Ya started only 5 years ago but it was selected for a Fisrt prize... More

The place is small and hard to find but the sushi is the best I have ever had!! The mango roll and yam tempura roll are my favorites, all the ingredients literally melt in your mouth!

Great service and delicious food. Friendly greeting with prompt service. We waited only 5 minutes for a table. Well priced cuisine using fresh ingredients. The Tuna sashimi just melted in my mouth. You cannot ask for more.

Went here for the first time this weekend. We went around 5:45 and the place was already packed! This was a good sign of what was to come. This place is small so go early or be prepared to wait. My husband and I enjoyed the spinach gomae, miso soup, seared albacore, greens role (amazing) and some of their signature... More

It was a Friday evening and I was in downtown for a casual night. This place is across from the law court, not far from the City Centre Sky train station. They have a zen-like atmosphere. Mirrors was placed to create spacier visual effects. Good to find out they had fresh and great quality sushi. My picks: Quinoa spicy tuna... More

The sushi is healthy but quite pricey. The restaurant is very small, only 6-7 tables, the value of the dish is also not great.

Thank Bennyzs

Staying in Granville Street

Neighborhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
