Great Sushi restaurant. Everything was very fresh and they worked hard to accommodate us and our children. Really enjoyed the Magic Dragon Roll which had a nice contrast between crispy and smooth. The gyoza also taste like they get done in a whole wheat based wrapper. We thought that sounded a bit weird but the whole wheat tempura and the... More

My Wife wanted to visit this spot. I wasn't initially too excited because they only server brown rice and I'm not generally into the whole organic game... BUT. WOW. The prices were reasonable. The service was attentive. The food was INCREDIBLE. We had some of the best sashimi we've ever eaten. We were VERY impressed. Also the cost for rolls... More

Very good and healthy japanese food. They prepare excellent noodles soups and sushi made wu¡ith fresh fish and whole grain eco rise: a different option to the traditional sushi. The atmosphere is nice. It is better to reserve a table at lunch, it is quite busy.

Shizen-Ya differentiates itself by offering sushi made exclusively with organic brown rice and organic ingredients. The concept is a good one but the delivery falls just a bit short. The food itself is not bad at all, I ordered the $9.95 "Triple Attack" Brown rice bowl w/ sockeye salmon and albacore tuna and spinach on a bowl of organic brown... More

Vancouver is known for it's good sushi but this place takes it to another level. It's not spoiled me and I have a hard time having sushi anywhere else. The Blossom role is my favourite! Without fail we always get that. All brown rice, all organic. It's delicious!

So happy to have discovered this place -- so many vegetarian options. It's going to be my new go to sushi place for sure.

I love lunching at this place because the food is so delicious and healthy. Today I ate Agedashi Tofu, Tuna Sashimi, spicy Tuna Cone and shared a yummy Ocean Quartet salad (see pictures). Just enough for one person but not too much. The food has no MSG, organic brown rice, greens and no additives. It tastes so fresh and fantastic.... More

Authentic, fresh and tasty Japanese food. Small place, and small queue to get a a table but outstanding food, with really good vegetarian options that were really vegetarian (ie no fish stock etc). Cheap for the quality

The Restaurant is very narrow but very busy. It can only seat around 20 diners and still some diners chose to wait rather than go to next door restaurant or to other restaurants in the area. Perhaps the food taste is good which is so and the price is reasonable which is not because Their price is more within the... More
