This place was so much better when they first opened not because the quality of their food (cuisine is AMAZING) but because of the stiff and stuffy energy it harbours. Can't put my finger on it but suffice it to say, going to Hawksworth will leave in ahhh at the taste and eclecticness of their menu items. Truly it is... More

Terrific private event. Hawksworth himself came and spoke to our group about the choices made in the courses. Caviar flown in from a small town in Northern BC. Sablefish harvested sustainably (in traps) deep in the ocean. Celeriac ravioli prepared in a way that locked in all the moisture and flavour. The sommelier also taught us about each of his... More

I dine out a lot with clients. This restaurant was disappointing. Their signature pasta was floating in oil and and overdone. The appetizer which was supposed to be delicate flavours of fig and buffala where attacked by a dozen items thrown on top including bacon. My client's duck salad was too dry and she was disappointed.

Fiancé and I were touring Gastown when we decided to come here. We were dressed down in regular street clothes and felt really out of place but the hostess and our server Darren made us feel very comfortable. Having Darren serve was like having a good friend serve. He knew the menu perfectly, made sure my fiancés allergy was looked... More

We are staying at Rosewood Georgia hotel. Event modern restaurant. I had a full English which came with 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, potatoes black pudding and baked beans. And toast. My husband Canuck breakfast. Steak with eggs, rossi, avocado, onion and 2 eggs. Both were beautifully presented and very tasty. Service was impeccable.

Allow me to start by saying that this is a good restaurant in my opinion, however I would like to explain why this simply is not a five star experience: The amenity, environment and design is exactly what you would expect from such a restaurant, it is classy, polished and warm. The drinks range is extensive, I would say too... More

We made a reservation after reading tripadvisor reviews and were thankful we did. The restaurant is next to a vintage hotel but appears to be independent. It has a modern decor and a lot of room. We had no trouble conversing even though the room was full. We were all impressed by the chef's creativity and the interesting blending of... More

Had the tasting menu here. The room was beautiful. Service and food were excellent. The restaurant is a little loud. If you had to choose one restaurant to eat at, this is the place.
