I was at the Convention Centre for a show and this spot was recommended. We first came for lunch and that was great. I also had breakfast here a couple days and the breakfast sandwich and fruit bowl were great too. Their lattes are also very tasty. I will go back here when I return to Vancouver.

Just had a VERY good dinner at Giovane Cafe. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded. They had a set $28.00 "dine out" menu that consisted of 3 courses (fine dining) and it was delicious. Very pleased!

Every year my mother sends me for Christmas a huge, delicious, traditional Panettone, the official sweet bread of my city, Milan. This year she could not so my girlfriend was so nice to go and buy one for me. Giovane, a nice place that sounds kind of Italian, inside the nicest hotel of Vancouver, advertises Panettone! Perfect! My girlfriend, that... More

Good service and coffee. A nice variety of food options for breakfast and lunch and pleasant surroundings. During my stay this time at the Fairmont visited twice.... once for coffee and once for a lite breakfast.

Great cafe for a small meal (salads are good) or a quick breakfast (oh those in-house baked almond croissants). Nice foodie gift shop, too

This is an elegant cafe in a casual chic setting. My family dined here several times during our stay at the hotel, it has a lovely ambiance and friendly service. Nice wines in the evening. Lines can be long in the morning but it is a great place to have a pastry, plan your day and watch the world go... More

You get a real sense that the customers of Giovane are a cut above the normal. Stylish, informed, educated, discerning. The coffee here is very good, the pastries fresh and appealing. A good place to watch the elite of Vancouver starting their day

Wide selection of charcuterie - try the spicy fennel salami - and tasty pizzas, accompanied by a Pinot Gorgot. Friendly service.

Asked for off menu items which was accommodated with no quibble. Standard of the food exceptional. Best pizzas and toasties we've had for a long time!
