Good place for coffee and pastries

A fun setting to browse around while waiting for a coffee. They sell mugs and knicknacks which are a bit unusual. The Americano I drank was tasty and not unreasonably priced. My friend ate a croissant with jam and a coffee and the pastry was flaky as croissants should be. I'd go back.

We stopped in for a quick breakfast. The Italian Breakfast we ordered was amazing and a third of the price we would have paid in the actual hotel or for room service. Italian bread, jam, small croissant, fresh fruit bowl PLUS eggs and bacon. Delightful!! Windows open to the street when sitting at the bar which makes for a nice... More

My family and I stopped by here for dessert because the gelato place next door had a really long line. What a mistake. I ordered a slice of salted caramel chocolate cake. It was a whopping $12, so I expected something great. What I got was a piece of very average chocolate cake in which I could not taste the... More

My wife and I ate here several times during the time we were staying in the attached Pacific Rim hotel. It provided good options for breakfast/lunch (that were significantly more reasonably priced than Oru) however it was definitely not what you would call a "cheap eat". On one day we ordered two breakfast rolls to take away along with a... More

I ordered a pizza with fennel sausage to take to my room for a late dinner. Ordering was fine; got it up there and it was very little sausage and a lot of sliced potatoes. As I said it smelled good, but did not taste good. Pealed off the potatoes and ate what was left. Good things I had other... More

Associated with the fairmont pacific rim. Great breads and pastries. Lunch menu is a bit limited but the staff created a sandwich "off menu" to my wife's specs. The shredded chicken panini is superb

I like going here for a quiet place to have dessert and coffee. The meals are also tasty and perfect to share. The tables are sort of close together so depending on the time, there is not much privacy. It is nice not to be rushed out though.

We were staying at the Fairmont Pacific Rim so this was an easy choice for a later dinner since it is in the hotel. I mentioned it was my husband's birthday and a few moments later the hostess appeared with Prosecco for the adults. We enjoyed their delicious thin crust pizza and finished the meal with the best tiramisu we... More

I highly recommend going here for dessert! This cafe is in the heart of Coal Harbour and offers beautiful baked goods as well as a casual cafe style food menu. They also have a liquor license so you can enjoy a nice glass of wine with a slice of cake at any time of day (they are open late as... More
