This restaurant closed down some time ago and should no longer appear here - see their own website. It has been replaced by a very busy coffee bar type place.

Go for half price appetizers; otherwise way overpriced. The appetizers are brilliant, service is attentive. Meals great if a tad $$

Change of menu to tapas style is welcomed. Small but unique menu made this a wonderful dining experience.

This place is a bit confusing for the casual diner coming in for the first time. The atmosphere is half fine dining and half sports bar, so that most of the patrons are seated at tables with high class waiters and the rest are sitting at a bar, nursing beers and yelling at the large screen TV. Presumably this is... More

New name, now called Tappo's. Six of us shared six different dishes and everything was excellent. The wine we had was reasonable and very good, a BC red blend. They have changed to smaller portions and a Tappas style. Only one other table being served while we were there, so it has not been discovered yet, but if they keep... More

I don't have anything bad to say about this restaurant but I don't have anything good to say either. The antipasti platter for 2 was way overpriced for the quality of the food (how can an italian antipasti platter have no prosciutto??). The ravioli with mushroom were excellent but on the other end the rigatoni rqgu' were terrible. I was... More

I passed this gem at the end of a long run as I was figuring out what I wanted to have for dinner. Most of the other nearby options are less restaurant and more pub/bar. I was in the mood for restaurant. The menu looked wonderful, highlighting a combination of fresh local seafood and Italian flair. But the place was... More

We ate here 3 nights out of 6 on a recent visit to Vancouver as it was so good and we didn't want to risk being disappointed elsewhere. We were staying in the excellent adjacent hotel, L'Hermitage and ate here the first night as it was convenient. The food was delicious, notable dishes being bruschetta to start and also grilled... Excellent bistro-esque food, service, ambience and service. Would recommend without hesitation. An excellent oasis.

Best restaurant during our travels. We visited Portland, Seattle and Vancouver and this was the best combination of food / service we encountered. We stayed at L'Hermitage, in which it is located, so decided to try it and it was fabulous -- so much so, we ate there a second time. Both times, the service was exceptional and the food... More
