In light of the accolades and awards, one has to try it. We had the salted caramel and black sesame, both very good. However, we've had better black sesame in China. There were even a few ice crystals in the black sesame. My own home made dulce de leche tasted very similar to the salted caramel, with a similar texture.... More

I treat myself once a month to Bella's Gelato. Chocolate Maldon Sea Salt will make you forget you had a bad day at the office. Although the gelato never fails to disappoint, at 8$ a cone, I can only justify it once and awhile. The lineup is insane, even at 10:00 pm. Service is always slow. I understand that if... More

It was so hot we were desperate for ice cream and saw this gelataria. The queue was down the street but we thought it was actually worth the wait. There is a large choice, about 5 types of chocolate, non dairy and then about 20 flavours. I thought the way they served you was very good, you paid for scoops... More

No doubt great gelato. Not as good as Rome but your not in Italy. Or it doesnt tast as god because its not in Italy. But nevertheless the "feel" is off. Lines and zero italian authenticity.

I watched this restaurant being built for a year and finally dropped by one evening for a scoop of gelato to see what all the hype was about. I had seen people lined up outside for several days with someone at a podium checking people in. When I went there was no line up but the podium was there so... More

This gelateria fully deserves its title as Winner of the Florence Gelati competition. Try the Torroncino or the Banana bread flavours in a cone and you will be blown away by the flavours. Absolutely fantastic and we have tasted gelati everywhere!

We stayed at the fairmont pacific rim which is just right above this gelato place. Every time we walked by this place there would be along line, so we decided to try it ourselves. We weren't disappointed. They have some interesting flavors and it ranks up there among some of the best gelato places we have tried in Italy.

I can't believe that I waited in line for almost 40 minutes, but it was worth it. We each tried 2 flavors. Our favorites were the salted caramel and chocolate. Sat on a nearby bench and scarfed it all down in a few seconds.

Twice in 3 days. Lined up both times, once for 20 min, another closer to 40 minutes. Worth the wait both times. Beautiful flavours. Favourites so far: Espresso (they use coffee from Milano Coffee Roasters!); Texas Pecan (on the sweet side, but interesting and fulfills the cravings for salted nut, vanilla and cherry); Black Sesame (for the Asian in me);... After a long day sightseeing, and a not -so-great dinner, we wanted some good ice cream. Found this online, and hunted it down. There was a ling line out the door - thank God there was no rain! And they kept the place open until everyone was served, though it was way past their closing time. The gelato was great,... More
