Won the world's best gelato in 2014 - can see why

In 2014 it won the title of world's best gelato. There was about 10 - 12 gelato options. I had the lavender, banana bread and salted caramel. 3 scoops in a cup - just so I could try a variety. I went two days in a row so I could try more. Innovative flavours of smooth rich gelato

3 days in Vancouver and 3 trips to Bella. The second trip we waited in line for 45 minutes, but well worth the wait. Hard to say what's best, Akbar Mashti, Toasted Pecan with Maldon Sea Salt(award winning flavor), Burnt Carmel, White Coffee, Salted Carmel.... all awesome! It is a must visit spot!!

This restaurant was recommend on our 2 days stay in Vancouver and since we were new to the area took advantage of the suggestion. It was not just as we thought. Thinking it was Italian by the name we were expecting spaghetti, lazagna, etc. NOT. We did try the pizza and it was okay. Mostly vegan and gluten free dishes.... More

The gelato was recommended as the best in the city and we agreed so much we went back multiple times during our week in Vancouver. The service though is what makes this place truly unique. Our first visit was preceded by a bike ride which left one of us with a few scraps and bruises. Upon seeing the scraps and... More

It's a nice experience for sure, but it won't be a regular one. I would not classify this the best gelato I've ever had like other reviews here. It's good, but not great & certainly could be worth the wait - IF - you have the time. The location makes for a nice evening to grab your treat & walk... More

Bella Gelateria did not disappoint!! There are two locations in Vancouver - Yaletown and Coal Harbour. After walking along the waterfront, we stopped by the Coal Harbour location and had a delicious ice cream. There was a line up (about a 20 minute wait), but it was worth it. A bit on the pricey side…but you are paying for quality... More

Oh. My. God. This is the best gelato ever! I absolutely love gelato - all gelato - but this is definitely the best. I saw a line outside, decided to join it and was so happy to find it was worth the wait. I went several times on my very brief business trip to Vancouver. How could I not?! My... More

Came here around 5pm and the line was still about 30 mins long, but it was worth it for the gelato. The lavender and the salted chocolate gelatos are amazing! The quality is excellent as well, as good or better than many that I had in Europe (including Italy). However, the gelatos are way too overpriced, especially for the size... More

We went there because for once, we saw no line up and thought it would be a great time to try out what is supposed to be the best ice cream in town. Well although it's good ice cream, neither my husband nor I were wow'ed so we will probably not be back. And for the price they charge, they... More

After you go to the Tourism Center at Canada Place, come here to spread out your maps to plot your stay. Very creamy good gelato. I loved the salted caramel but the winner of the Italian competition was the Canadian maple.
