Read the reviews on the trip advisor city app and went out of our way to find this place. The menu was simple 7 choices but the food was perfectly cooked and very very very tasty. Try the pork crackling with salsa verde sandwich totally stunning. The drinks menu was fitting with the place too. Root beer cloudy lemonade etc... More

I saw this place on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives so I read the reviews on TA and had to go during a recent trip to Vancouver. I'm so glad I did. I got there just before 11am when they open and there was already a line of about 10 people. The guy in line behind me was a local and... More

I work down the street from one of the locations and so have been there a few times. I just don't get why they have long lines and such great reviews. The sandwiches are okay but nothing to rave about. The salads I've had were awful and I threw them out. The lentil soup I tried last time was pretty... More

Meat and bread, it's that simple. But it's so good! Not an extensive menu, but you don't need one when the options are all so good. I had a porchetta sandwich and it was amazing! Great atmosphere and service too.

Just four sandwiches on the menu, but the two we had were excellent. They make them with bread just out of the ovens. Try the ice cream sandwich for desert. Line moves quickly, but might have trouble finding a seat. Try sitting on the wooden logs outside.

Our tour guide recommended this restaurant for good sandwiches. They had about 4-5 options along with soups. You order at a counter and then take a seat at either the picnic tables outside or some high tables inside. No AC inside just an FYI. We had the lamb sandwich and corned beef. If you're looking for aa standard ham and... More

Tasty porchetta sandwich & turkey soup. Much better lunch option than the typical unhealthy fast food options. Give it a go.

I always love the porchetta sandwich at meat and bread. Even though they serve different type of sandwiches their signature porchetta is the best. A perfect combination of flavour and texture. Just perfect.

This was a great place to have a sandwich for lunch. We arrived at 11:30 am before the lunch rush and we were able to find a seat next to the window. There is limited seating. The menu is very limited: drinks, one soup selection, one salad selection, one vegetarian sandwich selection, a pork sandwich selection and a daily sandwich... More

No matter what you get at Meat & Bread, you won't be disappointed. It's a little pricey for the portion you are getting, but all the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced.
