Great range of craft beers

We just had some appetisers here as we really went to try some of the 100 or so beers they have on draft - some of which are very unusual. You can sample 4 small glasses at a time 'a paddle'. Really buzzy atmosphere. Liked it.

Busy and crowded, but that was expected. So many beers to choose from which was fun. The food was okay, but I wouldn't go back just for that. A fun experience overall.

They do have a huge selection of beers, and that's why you should go to St Augustines. But the food, at least what we had today, is a waste of money.

We have been going to St.Augustines for several months now, it is our go to spot when we don't feel like cooking. It is an easy short walk from our place. We have tried many things on their menu and everything has been tasty and well prepared also nicely presented. The beer selection is HUGE! And always changing. The service... More

I've read a lot of bad review about the service and food, really, 54 tap ( a lot change often) and you talk about the service, even myself sometimes had received ( or better not received and walked away without purchasing nothing) but for the mostly part they are nice, and I don't go there for the service but for... I'd been a regular here for almost three years (many of the servers recognize me and a couple even know me by name) and in spite of the slow service and often crowded floor, I'd never had an unpleasant experience until recently, since the vast majority of the staff are friendly and approachable. However, on my last visit here this... More

As far as I know, all of the beers available are all more or less local - BC or at least domestic. I was nerdily fascinated by the live beer-level monitoring though I'm sure there must be other places that do it too. We'd heard that lesbians supposedly migrate to Commercial drive, so we somehow ended up at St. Augustines... More

My friends and I booked a table for 7 last friday evening after work. When I showed up with two additional friends we were told that they could not seat with us for ''safety'' reasons,... the waitress haughtily refused to relocate the party or find any solution and just blamed us for not booking for the right amount of people.... Sin not, but go forth and drink really good beer. Where? Very close to Broadway and Commercial SkyTrain stations, easy to get to from anywhere in Vancouver. St. Augustine's can be found on the northeast corner of Commercial Drive and Grandview Highway--where "the Drive" truly begins, if you're approaching from the south. With literally DOZENS of beers and ales on... More
