What a marvelous time we had at the market. It provided our meal for two evenings of local fare served picnic style. I would suggest looking for local produce, fish, etc. a couple of places bake breads at the market. Something for EVERYONE!!

Looking for a really, really good burger? This place is like the shake shack of vancouver, but better. The portions were sizeable, the service was fast and efficient and the salads were great too. If you are spending an afternoon on Granville and looking for a good lunch, this is it. They only took cash or debit ... no credit... More

Although like a lot of locals, I avoid Granville Island during cruise ship season, I'm here a lot during the rest of the year. With all of the great food choices on the Island, it may seem funny that my usual choice if I'm here at lunchtime is a hot dog from Market Grill. What can I say? They're really... More

I guess most tourists to Vancouver visit Granville Island and the market, and we were no exception. We went on a Sunday lunchtime, and ended up spending the whole afternoon there. The market was a great collection of food and craft stalls, and it would be hard not to find something to everyone's taste. There was also a mixture of... More

So much to see and experience! Some gift waiting for you! Experience fresh vegetables, flowers, jewellery made, brewery pubs, fishing and pleasure vessels, restaurants of quality food and views. Safe but very limited parking, some pay others only 3 hrs. will tow! hard to find parking and some one should be there at entrance advising people where if any parking... More

We were told to go here by one of the market stall holders - we had breakfast and the Beltch sandwich is the best ever! Basically a BLT with egg and cheese - not at all stodgy, but a great way to start the day and it kept us going for the whole whale watching trip. Coffee was a bit... More

My wife and I started our day at Granville Island here. We had a very good breakfast croissant and an egg breakfast. It is not a fancy place, but the people were very friendly and kitchen was very clean. Seating is limited if it is raining. So grab a table if you see it.

My cousin, Louise, born and raised in Vancouver, knows where to go for the best food! So, off to the Market Grill we went....it is in the large public market building on Granville Island, on the north side (water side) of the building, in the corner. Order up a salmon burger and prepare for the best of your whole trip.... More

We did not get to see enough because of the time and the size. There are many ways to get there from the ferry, bicycle, or car. A good day to spend an afternoon.

Based on a recommendation from 2 False Creek ferry "Captains" we chose the Market Grill for lunch, this is not a fancy sit down kind of place, it's look at the board, order your burger or hot dog and wait for your number to be called. Juicy, grilled bun and tasty from the first to the last bite When we... More
