Awesome place with a great concept. Don't come too hungry as they mostly serve plates of cheeses and meats. They have a decent selection of wines and, as the title states, absinthe is on the menu. They serve it very authentically with water dripped over the drink with a sugar cube. The painting portion can get messy so watch out!... More

Awesome concept. Atmosphere was great, people were friendly. Menu is more of a appetizer type, but still great to have with all the different types of beer and the painting was fun. Great date spot.

This is the place to wear that outfit that's hot enough to party in, but ready to be thrown out. This includes anything from jeans to party shoes. Leave the fancy dresses for another event. The snacks are ok and the wine list too, but the fun part is to hang out with friends and enjoy some great laughs over... More

Great experience for a team building. Only dislike was that the paint available was missing 2 to 3 colors including white. I would think this would be a general maintenance issue. We also requested a total vegan menu and sausage on almost every plate. But a very fun experience and would recommend to others.

This idea of eating then painting was way more fun than I thought. I went with a group of friends. You may want to have dinner first. The food selection is more for snacking as you drink.

Came here with a group of girls for some appies, drinks and painting. I think my experience might have been marred by the completely horrendous painting I produced and group of douchebags sitting around us, however, not the restaurant's fault! Very cool concept being that you eat drink and then paint, or vice versa as well perhaps? The painting area... More

I recently just had my first time here. I wasn't really sure what to expect but the experience was amazing. I came here for a first date. There was paint on the chairs and tables. Funky, abstract painting on the walls. A huge wine and beer list. Great to loosen nerves ;) The menu was smallish but adequate. It was... More

Came here for a friend's birthday dinner and it was my first experience here. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere from the decor to the music made it a comfortable, friendly place. We each got a tasting plate with items that ranged from cave-aged gruyere to tenderized elk. The food was well portioned as it was a tapas... More

So we booked a table at Raw Canvas because it bills itself as a "tapas" restaurant. My husband has a smallish appetite and likes to peck; mine is more substantial. At first glance we loved the place; lots of outsider art on the walls, recycled furniture. A cute waiter with a beard. We didn't fancy painting but maybe some other... More

It was a casual birthday get together at Raw Canvas with my girlfriends that my husband had secretly arranged and surprised me. He bought us a few bottles of wine, a canvas for me to paint on and left us to have a girls night out. The staff were terrific the entire night and everything turned out perfect! The selection...
