Staying in your hometown lets you experience it as no tourist can. There are many fine restaurants in Vancouver but when I want a taste of Asia there are too many to choose from. One place stands out a little more and that's the Red Star on Granville Street. For lunch, it has an ample menu full of small dishes... More

Dined in on Sunday morning around 11am. Restaurant not as busy as usual. Filled up shortly. As always food was excellent, hot and flavourful. It took twice as long to get our dim sum. We actually asked twice when our food would be coming. I had to get to work so we ended up eating quickly and not enjoying our... More

Had a dim sum brunch here. You order from menu which is huge. They have a lot of unusual choices although they are missing some standards. The places was crowded on a Friday afternoon. I believe that I was the only non-oriental there. That's OK I was able to communicate and my choices pleased me very much. Everything was delivered... More

This restaurant serves excellent deep fried pork rib, in small pieces, and as crunchy on first bite, they just melt in your mouth. Wow. The second meat dish was minced pork with tofu stewed in hot sauce, a popular northern dish. We were there for the good seafood dishes., we had shrimp and scallops stir fried with vegetables. The shrimps... More

Excellent Dimsum and everything so fresh, tasty and still steaming when brought to the table.. Excellent service considering that it was full house at lunch time.

Good dim sum. Food is fresh and tasty. One of the go to restaurants where I take visitors and friends alike. As this is a higher end Chinese restaurant, be prepared to pay more but with that comes higher quality food and service.

The food was amazing. Everything was prepared very well. The jellyfish tasted good. The steamed fish was so tasty. They also had some geoduck which was pretty amazing. I wish we tried it. It was in the fish tank.

The best dim sum i have ever had , bar none. Simply delicious and mouth watering. Very reasonable price as well. The only negative is the long waiting time , even on weekdays. If you love Chinese food ,esp dim sum , you should not miss this place.
