Walking the park and stopped by the teahouse to see about lunch. Asked if there was a spot we could sit outside with a dog. Rude blond hostess snootily replied "why would you even ask that". Hey, no problem but don't appreciate being made to feel like an idiot. People do have dogs in a park.

We booked a special dinner in advance of our arrival to Vancouver after reading so many glowing reviews regarding not only the view but especially the quality of the food and service at The Teahouse. When I made the reservation, I was asked if we were celebrating anything special, to which I replied, "Why, yes, it is our 35th anniversary!"... More

We were on a short tour through Stanley park with our hired bicycles when our elder son suddenly stopped. He told us that the friendly stuff at the bike shop recommended the Teahouse as a good place to stay and eat. So we tried it out and we were more than satisfied! Even I as a vegan found something to... More

Went here on a Saturday for Breakfast with our family. The staff were very helpful, and friendly. Food was very good, but a little expensive. The view is excellent from every seat in the restaurant.

Few Weeks ago I went with a group of friends to the “Teahouse” in Stanley Park. Since we were a larger group (about 20) we got just a reduced menu. But also this didn’t help to speed up the processes – some of our friends got their meal just when the first were already finished despite that all came at... More

With the ocean views, the seawall people watching and the park itself ~ the location cannot be beat! Whether you dine in one of the 3 interior rooms or on the patio - the atmosphere is top notch. Our server was knowledgeable about both the food and the building history. Both the food and beverage prices were steep which makes... More

My husband and I were on the hop-on, hop-off trolley and famished when it came to the TeaHouse in Stanley Park, so we "hopped-off" and were promptly seated on the terrace for an amazing lunch. We started with stuffed mushrooms on a bed of arugula that were melt-in-your-mouth wonderful. My husband opted for the sockeye salmon, which was the suggestion... More

As promised the sunset view was long and beautiful. The food was really good too. The menu was diverse, prices are a wee bit high. The service is great. My only complaint here was the doors were open, as it was warm, and people were allowed to smoke near the doors and it drifted in to the dining area; making... More

Great salad and local wine. Service was fine, nothing extra special there. Fresh bread was a nice added touch as well. Great location.

This is by far one of my most favourite restaurants in Vancouver. From the warm welcome to exceptionally great food selections and the stunning view of the various shores and harbour this restaurant is a must experience on your travels to Vancouver. I recommend a reservation and be sure to check the time of sunset depending on the time of... More
