finding this spot when we walked in the park

When we were walking in the park looking at roses we saw this wonderful place to take a nosh. Great food in the park we did not know until we walked upon The Tearoom.

We showed up at The Tea House after walking for hours around Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium with two kids and thought for sure they would not let us in to such a fine establishment looking the way we did! We were greeted and welcomed warmly and ushered to a table overlooking the bay!! Our waiter Telsyn was very... More

We had a wonderful dinner here during our recent stay in Vancouver. I had researched it before travelling and booked a table when we arrived in town. We had a window table, overlooking Ferguson Point and the views at sunset were sensational. The food and wine were sublime and we were well looked after by our server. I had the... More

We stopped here for lunch after a long flight into Vancouver. It was a lovely environment and the food was very fresh and well presented. Service was excellent and Wesley took great personal care of us. Stop by The Teahouse before heading to the market if you pass through this area. It's a unique little place. Worth your time.

We made a reservation from UK, mainly influenced by the reviews/location through this site, for an evening meal when we were to visit Vancouver for our holiday. The location was perfect - water's edge, beautiful sunset etc. The ambience was difficult to assess because there were customers, like us, dressed for the occasion i.e. Sunday evening, and others dressed for... A friend and I cycled here from the Olympic Village for lunch. We sat outside on a lovely sunny day. The location and outdoor ambience here is really terrific. Our server was friendly and efficient. The food was a bit lacklustre I am sorry to say; hopefully just an off day. We both had the Halibut burger which was overcooked,... More

It would be hard to find a better location, and this is borne out by the large number of weddings held here! We saw 3 wedding parties at lunchtime. The restaurant has a large lawn area in front of it, which is on a headland, high over the water near the Lions Gate Bridge. There is some ( paid ) parking... Booked a table for the last night of our 3 week tour of Canada. Beautiful sunset as we arrived. Immediately shown to our table, which although at the back of the restaurant was perfect. Our waiter came to see us straight away and very sensitively looked after us all evening. He explained the dishes and specials in a way such... More

This is our third visit to the Teahouse in Stanley Park, and our third visit to Vancouver. We have enjoyed each meal, with perfect ambiance , beautiful views, we choose to eat outside on covered patio with both fans and heaters to use as necessary. We will keep coming back each time we are in the area.

Beautiful view, delicious food, and an attentive staff make for a memorable meal. On the hop-on/off bus route, an easy way to a great experience.
